Difficult to handle
"I love that these tongs won't scratch my cookware, but I find them to be really cumbersome. You need two hands to unlock the tongs. When I'm cooking or serving food, I usually have both hands busy. I prefer tongs where the locking mechanism slides down the handle to unlock."

"I truly love these tongs. The rubber tips help to keep pans from getting scratched up and the lock feature helps them to easily fit inside drawers. I would highly recommend this!"

Very nice
"I've ordered from Crate & Barrel previously and have always been satisfied. These tongs are very, very nice and are exactly as described. Our daughter who resides in Japan at this time will be thrilled to have such a nice pair of tongs. This style is not available there and these are much stronger than anything that is on the market there."

Great Buy
"I use this tongs all the time for grilling, but every more often for everyday cooking.
The coated tips are great, no scrapping my pans. They feel great in the hand. Locking feature is a plus.
They wash well. I have had mine for two years and no signs of rust, they still look brand new.
I have three and will buy more."

Must Have for All Kitchens

Awesome Tongs
"These tongs are awesome. I have these in the 9" and 12". These 12" tongs are long enough to use for frying or on the grill. I love the silicone tips which won't destroy my food (unlike the non-coated tongs which can dig into tender foods). The tongs are easy to use one-handed, with a simple push/pull design for unlocking/locking the spring mechanism. I've used these tongs several times, washing them both by hand and in the dishwasher and they have not shown any signs of rust or damage. I would buy these again and again."

MUST HAVE IN EVERY KITCHEN
"I love my tongs so much. I have had mine for 8yrs and they are still good as new. No rust or squeaks! Easy to clean, store and use. If you don't have a pair GET THEM! I swear my cooking life changed once I purchased these."

Well made
"They are handy for using to turn grilled meats on the barbecue pit, but also use them for reaching items in my cabinet that I can't reach any other way, saves me getting a stool. I've even used them to reach under my orange tree to pick up fruit that has dropped. They're well made and their use is limited only to your imagination."

Really convenient

OUTSTANDING IN THE KITCHEN
"I WAS NEEDING TO GET ANOTHER PAIR OF TONGS AND THOUGHT WELL THEY ARE JUST TONGS. BOY WAS I WRONG THESE ARE MORE, THEY ARE SO LITE TO PICK UP AND LOOK GOOD TO HAVE OUT WHEN GUEST ARE AROUND. Perfect for non-stick cookware
"I bought these so I would have something to use on my non-stick cookware. These are perfect. I have the longer size and the regular size. The longer size is great for turning food in the oven and the regular size is good for food cooking on the stove-top. The locking handle makes it easy to store."

"I love these tongs. They are really helpful in the kitchen when cooking foods that require you to grip with tongs. Also, the lock is FANTASTIC!!!! It is great because you can leave the lock on when cooking thin foods or unlock it when you need the extra space to move around. Enjoy!"
