"I purchased this sectional in charcoal because I was done with the standard browns. And it is fabulous! I had to wait 3 months because it was a non-stock color but it was so worth the wait. Very comfortable and it looks and feels very high end. The chase is so comfy I want to hibernate on it all winter.
The delivery was very professional and nice. No nicking the walls or doors. Great buy!"

Comfortable and Sylish Sofa

"I am so pleased with the Axis Sofa. It is extremely comfortable to sit on with plush back and seat cushions. It is also very stylish with clean contemporary lines. I purchased the sofa in "peat". The Crate and Barrel pillows called "Kristen" coordinate perfecty with this color. The fabric is very durable and resists stains."

"This couch is super comfortable and fits well in my open concept living space. My dogs love sitting on top of the back pillows and looking out the window or sleeping.
The Chaise cushion has an unusual rise midway through and it seems your feet are elevated. I just mentioned it to the staff at Crate and Barrel and they are ordering a new core. Great folks."

"Super comfortable. Awesome for hanging out, sleeping on, or just a quick sit down to tie your shoes. It lets you sink into the couch but never overwhelming... you never get the feeling that you're stuck.
Also, we have the "Douglas" clothe which is really nice. It never gets too hot or cool. Plus stains come right out. I'd highly recommend it."

Loving my new couch!

"This is a great sectional. Very comfy and sturdy. I think this would be a particularly good choice for anyone with pets, at least with the stock fabric. I tell my friends that it would stand up to a bulldozer. The upholstery seems extremely wear resistant and yet comfortable and classy. I had been thinking of going with the Lounge sectional and decided on this one instead when I sat on it. I think it offers all the comfort of casual without looking too casual. The cushions are very full and firm but not too firm. I find the chaise a little difficult to get out of, but I'm short and chubby. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. Even the pillows (4) that come with this are great. As someone who went to the store and sat on about every piece of furniture in there, I would definitely recommend the Axis sofas/chairs."

Great Sofa

"I got this sectional for my new house last summer. I love it! I got the couch section as a sleeper which is a little harder than the chaise but the difference does not bother me. Over all its incredibly comfortable. I used the costum fabric which turned out great. The legs are a wonderful shape- solid an modern but still warm and classic. I did have some problems with delivery- it was slightly damaged when I recieved it but they picked it up, gave me a loaner and sent it back good as new only a month or so later. Overall- great couch."

"I love this sectional! My friend has the 4 piece set and I was sold the first time I sat on it. It's deep enough that guests can crash on it comfortably and durable enough for a household full of kids. We just purchased the 2 piece set for our family room and we love it. It's roomy and the entire family can lounge on it. It's also made from eco-friendly materials which is important for our lifestyle. It's a great couch for any family and any house."

The Adult Couch of choice

"During my college years I lived with and often, on, college kid couches. Upon graduation and getting married it was high time, and mutually agreed upon to purchase our first "Adult Couch". We had a general idea of what we wanted and searched high and low. We visited many well known and not-so-well-known furniture stores and tested quite a few couches. Last on our list was Crate and Barrel. We walked in and there it was, waiting for us under a single spot light, in the exact color, layout, and with the fabric of choice. It was perfectly comfortable for both my rather tall husband and my not extremely tall or short self. The micro fiber cloth was a wise choice considering our dog and small wine parties as the micro fiber is easily cleaned and maintained. Cushions are easily replaceable through Crate and Barrel, their delivery was wonderful, and their staff is exemplary. Every guest we've had over to the house has inquired as to the name of the couch and location of the purchase. It's great for movie nights, sleep overs, small parties, and board game nights. The couch is contemporary enough to match everything and anything in the house."

"I've owned the Axis sectional for just over a year and still love it. Despite heavy use, it looks almost as crisp and clean as it did the day it was delivered. It does have a large footprint, but that extra depth is well worth it, especially if you're tall.
The Douglas upholstery fabric has held up nicely. Where other microfibers would show every smudge or imperfection, the subtle pattern in Peat hides a multitude of sins. It also cleans up well after those inevitable accidents (cola has come out just fine).
As a fair warning, the down-filled cushions change over time. We spent a fair amount of time trying out the display model in the showroom so had an idea of what to expect. At delivery, the cushions were almost too firm, but within a few months they softened up. They have maintained their shape well with only a quick fluff and massage every week or two."
