Good Mixing Bowls

"I received these bowls as a wedding gift. I like the non-stick bottom. However, I have found that the inside is showing scrapes from using metal utensils (knife, forks, potato masher, etc.). I also have the oxo bowls with the stainless steel inside and I prefer those."

"These bowls are amazing! I love the rubber on the bottom to help prevent the bowl from sliding around on the counter top while you're mixing something thick. The pour spout works nicely and the rubber grips on the handle edge are a plus too. These are my favorite mixing bowls to use!"

"My husband is the gourmet chef in the family and he uses these bowls nearly every single day and they are the greatest invention since sliced bread. No longer do I have to worry about scratched counters or bowls getting away from you. These fantastic inventions can withstand just about anything. Gone are the days of those ugly avacado green standard bowls we found in our mothers kitchens! You would be crazy not to buy them."

"This is a great product! Light weight, easy to clean, doesn't stain, great grip, use with any mixing tool. I love it so much I bought them for other family members. I have had these bowls for 5 years and I think they will last forever. You need these if you like to cook!"

Yet another winner from Oxo

"I go by the kitchen motto that you can't go wrong with Oxo, and these bowls are more proof that my motto is apt. They are among the best mixing bowls I've ever used, in great part because of their non-slip bottoms and handles. They don't fly away from you on the counter when you mix something vigorously, and even with wet or oily hands keeping your grip on the handle is easy.
The pour spout also makes life a lot simpler, and neater. Batter doesn't flow out in all directions unless you're more impatient than I (Not possible) and turn the bowl upside down to empty it.
I could wish for other colors, but that's a minor consideration, and now that I know the plastic doesn't stain easily, it isn't as big an issue as it used to be. They're incredibly easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and have an agreeably small footprint in your cabinet.
I could also wish that there were jumbo-size versions of these bowls for really big batches of batter or dough or what have you. Considering their light weight, a very large bowl in this line would be a great boon to cooks who have some trouble lifting really huge mixing bowls.
Still, it's good to have the bowls they've chosen to make. I really recommend these for so many kitchen tasks. You really cannot go wrong with Oxo."

"This is such a great product. the bowls are deep so nothing splashes over the sides, they don't slip so you can feel free to stir vigorously and they are dishwasher-safe so the clean up is a cinch.

"OXO is so reliable... It always comes out with a product that fixes everyday kitchen items so that they are 10 times more useful. These bowls are no exception. I have had mine for years, use hand mixers, hot and cold items and wash it in the dishwasher every time. Still as good as new. The rubber bottoms are not just a gimmick. If you use a hand mixer you will really appreciate it!"

"I received these bowls as a gift from my sister and consider it one of the best presents ever. These bowls were recommended to her by a friend who thought they they were fantastic and I have to agree. They are extremely durable and fantastic for mixing, especially by hand, since the rubberized bottom keeps the bowl from slipping. The handle is perfect for gripping so even when the bowl is full it's pretty easy to pour. I would recommend these bowls to anyone who likes to cook or bake...I use these daily and don't know what I'd do without them!"

"These are my favorite mixing bowls of all time. The grip handles and non-skid bottom are fantastic! Even my five-year-old has a significantly easier time with these bowls than the mixing bowls we had previously (with no grips or non-skid bottom).
They also go through the dishwasher really well, even though hand washing is recommended.
Now if only OXO would make them in some different colors..."

"Excellent Mixing bowl set, they store easily stacked inside each other and offer a variety of sizes. The grip handle and bottoms are great since they allow an easy hold on the bowl and ensure it wont slip on the counter even during vigorous mixing. They do scratch over time on the inside."
