A modern blend of materials and geometric shapes comprise the sparkling beauty of this striking lamp. -Lead crystal and nickel-plated steel -Lead crystal finial -Rectangular pearl dupioni shade -Full range dimmer -100W max. -Accommodates dimmable compact fluorescent lightbulb (not included) -8' 7 translucent cord -Made in China Warning: The CFL bulb used in this lamp must be dimmable. Any other type of CFL bulb will damage the socket. Note: This item is UL-Listed and manufactured in compliance with U.S. standards. If you are purchasing this item for use outside of the U.S. or Canada, use only with the appropriate outlet adaptor and voltage converter for your country. Do not plug into an electrical outlet higher than 110-120V as this could result in fire and/or injury.

Very nice lights with a dimming feature
"For a long time I had been looking for lights to put on our nightstands that had a dimming feature but didn't look cheap. It took a long time before I came across these, but as soon as I saw them I knew I needed to have them. They are a very sturdy build and will make almost any space look like a 5-star hotel."

Simply gorgeous
"Every time I walk into my room, I love these lamps. They are sophisticated and elegant. They do require dusting quite often to keep them looking good, but it is well worth it. I am so happy with my purchase."

Glamour for any room
"Wow- I was stunned at how much glamour and elegance having two of these lamps flanking my bed provide. I think that they will look even better against a darker background as our walls are currently painted white. There are many glass lamps out there, but the cut of this glass makes it simply stunning and a real showpiece."

Beautiful Lamps
"I have been coveting these lamps for a couple of years and am so glad I finally purchased them. They are beyond beautiful and perfect for the end tables in my family room. The base of the lamp is high quality, heavy crystal. They do get dusty, but clean up easily with a duster. I was also impressed with how well they were packed for shipment. I love Crate and Barrel and have always been happy with my purchases there."

Beautiful but not long lasting
"I absolutely love the look of this lamp! I bought two for my bedroom in 2005. After a couple of years, the shade started spinning and eventually became very wobbly and loose on both lamps. It would not tighten up again no matter what I did. Also one of the two lamps no longer dims. I plan to take them to a lamp repair shop to see if they can be saved, but I was disappointed that they were not sturdier and longer lasting since all you do is turn them on and off."

Love this lamp
"I absolutely love this lamp. I bought two for the nightstands in my bedroom. Not only is it a gorgeous lamp, but the fact that it dims is fantastic -great to be able to read at night. I did have a problem where the dimmer switch became loose and actually stopped working on one of the lamps. This happened within 10 days of receiving it. Crate and Barrel customer service was fantastic - gave me no trouble resolving the issue - they will be sending out a replacement lamp and arranging pick up of the defective one. It seems like that was a fluke - the other lamp was fine, so I would definitely buy it again."

Love it!!!
"I struggled with the high price for months (and so did my husband. LOL), but I finally bought 2 for our bedroom, which is pretty plain, and it made the entire room look so much nicer. The dimmer switch makes the entire room any brightness you want, it looks like a 5 star hotel room! Definitely worth the money!!!"

Beautiful Modern Lamp
"I purchased two of these lamps back in 2006 for my first upscale Manhattan apartment. One sits on each end table in my bedroom. When it came time to purchase a lamp for my office desk I could not find another lamp that I liked as much, so I ended up purchasing a 3rd! Because it's mostly translucent, I think it makes the perfect lamp for a small space."

"I ordered two of these lamps for my living room and had them delivered to my workplace. They arrived in no time. Perfectly packaged. Boxes were very large and I was thankful that my "not so green" SUV was at least able to fit them both. As for the lamps, WOW they were all that I expected and more. Heavy in size so they won't easily tip over. As most everyone mentioned the dimmers are a fantastic plus and do provide that customized glow. If you can find the money and want one (or more) get it for yourself because I doubt you'll be dissappointed as the style isn't likely to soon be gone. This purchase really doesn't need justifying because you'll probably have and love them for many years especially since they'll look great in most any room so you can switch them out whenever you may want to change it up a bit and give another room a new look. Just another reason to go and make that purchase.

"Bought a pair of these for my master bedroom and we love them!
Handsome, solid, and well made, they contribute a nice sparkle to the room. The dimmer controls are very practical. You can light up the whole room or give a mere candle glow-- and everything in between. Handy if one of us is reading in bed and one sleeping, or leaving one on low as a nightlight if one comes to bed later. Perfect."

To shed some (beautiful) light on things
"These Marlene table lamps replaced some very old night stand lights, and I don't know why I waited so long to do it. Their unique design finishes off the room perfectly, and the glass blocks can be arranged in any configuration for variety. I simply love the dimmer switches -- the first time I've ever seen that on table lamps. Well crafted and great looking, you can't go wrong with these!"
