Simply nifty!!!
"I bought 4 of the bowls along with the Square ones. I am looking for serving bowls and these were "simply nifty"!!! I made dips for Easter in 2 of them and they did very well...Deep enough to make it and cleaned up very nicely!! Put ingridents in it and whisked it all together and put in fridge to chill before serving!! Wiped sides down and it looked really nice!!Also served side items in the other 2 for the main gathering.I will be looking to these bowls as my "go to" bowls for gatherings and now that I think about it for everyday use!! Well made....came out of the dishwasher looking good!!! If ordered online please recycle packing material accordingly..these were well packed.Thanks Crate&Barrel for another wonderful product!!"

perfect size
"at last C&B heard! I've been searching for a good size pasta bowl in white porcelain; these are great for individual serving of pasta or salads.btw: the coupe is much too big and shallow, the essential bowl too deep and not wide enough. These bowls are the perfect size, and are sturdy and clean looking."

My go-to dish!
"I don't live near a Crate & Barrel. So when I order online, I always expect to have something wrong with the shipment. Late package, order messed up or the product chipped/defective. Nope, never with C&B! I originally ordered only 4 of these bowls - I love them so much I had to order 2 more for when we have guests. I love them! Perfect for everything we make; Pasta, soups, salads, scrambles... the list goes on! My favorite purchase from C&B! Not to mention the dishes are really pretty! It makes any dish look fancy. :)"

Nice bowls
"I purchased the Rylan dishes from Crate&Barrel and they have been discontinued. I was afraid to let my kids use the Rylan bowls for fear they would break them and I had no way to reorder them. So I bought these for my kids to use and they are perfect! I love them. They are perfect size. And even though they are white, they still go nicely with the dark blue Rylan set."

Great bowl!
"I had the opposite experience- this bowl did not get hot in my high-wattage microwave when I used it to heat up mashed potatoes or soup. I bought these bowls specifically to use to heat things up and wanted something that wouldn't get hot, so I'm very happy. Nice size for a side of soup, ice cream, small bowl of oatmeal or snack. Probably too small for cereal. I also bought the 9" every bowls to use mainly for pasta meals and they are great. The color is bright white."

Microwaveable - Questionable
"This is the perfect size bowl for heating soup. Unfortunately after 30 seconds in the microwave the bowl becomes too hot to pick up with bare hands. We've tried the bowls multiple times and each time we're unable to sustain contact with the bowl for more than 5 seconds following microwaving. On a few occasions the bowl has been extremely hot and the food being re-heated is still not at a desirable temperature for eating."
