"I really like the simplicity of this cake stand, but was disappointed when I received mine in the mail because the surface was not level - very lopsided. I'm thinking of taking it back to a store where I can inspect one and hopefully exchange it. I'm sure not all look like mine or it wouldn't have gotten such high reviews."

"I have this cake stand and two others from Crate and Barrel. what I love about this is its simplicity. It makes a beautiful cake or pastries or whatever you use it for to stand out. Because it is not overly ornate, it does not take away from your presentation but add to it. I've used it for my 4 year old kids party to a bridal shower for my best friend. It is a most have piece for every home."
