Marimekko Jurmo Blue Bed Linens
Designer Aino-Maija Metsola captures the austere natural beauty of Jurmo, a remote Finnish island in the Archipelago Sea, in her 2011 pattern of the same name. Describing the island as one of the most magnificent places she has ever visited, Aino-Maija abstracts its rocky cliffs, heather moors and infinite blue sea as graphic linear bands of freeform dots and circles. Duvet cover reverses to self, with hidden button closure at bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Pillow shams have a 1 flange and generous back flap closure. -Pattern designed by Aino-Maija Metsola; 2011 -100% cotton sateen -300-thread-count -100% polyester fill -Machine wash cold -Made in Pakistan

Beautifully Creative & High Quality
"We bought this for our beach house--it is the perfect look for that.
The biggest concern is that the coordinating pieces are no longer available but it works wonderfully with mixing other solids and prints. We used a cream-colored sheet & pillow case set and a blue print pillow case set. I like it better this way than had the other items been available...not so matchy-matchy. The missing pieces force creativity.
If you love it enough to work with the no coordinates situation, you will not be disappointed by the quality. The cover is heaven to sleep under! It is airily light-weight and very smooth to the touch."

Exceeded my expectations
"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Marimekko duvet. The color and graphics are exactly like it appears in the photo. I did not know what to expect from cotton sateen, so was amazed at how smooth & soft it feels. It barely had any wrinkles when it arrived but any wrinkles it did have, disappeared after being on the bed for about 1 week. I have not yet washed it.
My INSERT is actually a Cal King, but the largest Duvet size available was King, so I was concerned that this duvet would be too snug. That was not the case. This duvet has extra room in it and is larger than our previous King duvet (by another company). It covers more area overall and is more than accommodating for our Cal King insert and it’s placement is much better looking with our existing bed skirt."

Disappointed
"I bought the Duvet cover, shams and sheet set. I followed the washing instructions to the letter, however the shams and the pillow cases bled out the into the white to make it an ugly greyish blue. I am so disappointed. The sheets and the duvet cover did not, just the shams and pillow cases. How very odd. I would not recommend these due to that fact. Or maybe you should wash the shams and pillow cases separately."

Very Large
"I loved the color and feel of these sheets when i took them out of the package... however I have a King size mattress and these sheets were too big to fit the mattress. I did not see any other options other than King (no notice about larger sizing, etc) so I had to return them. If they had fit they would have been beautiful. Very confused about the sizing."
