Marimekko Lumimarja Taupe Bed Linens
Designed by Erja Hirvi in 2004, Lumimarja (snowberries) is a modern return to organic and natural design encapsulated elegantly in this Marimekko pattern. The snowberry, whose interior resembles crystalline snowflakes, is representative of the beauty that can be found throughout Finland's vast wilderness. Duvet cover reverses to self, with hidden button closure at bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Matching pillow sham has a 1 flange and generous back flap closure. Duvet inserts and bed pillows also available. -Pattern designed by Erja Hirvi; 2004 -100% cotton sateen -300-thread-count -Machine wash cold -Made in Pakistan

Striking
"I bought this sheet set because I wanted a focal point in the bedroom and didn't want any more patterned duvets. The colors are beautiful and do create a nice focus. The sheets wash well. I like the fact that they are neutral yet not neutral."

LOVE!!!
"I couldn't be happier w/ this duvet. The colors are gorgeous, the material is softer than most duvets and has a silky texture to it(only drawback of that is that it does wrinkle a little more easily but not to the point where it really bothers me). I bought it w/ the Anujah Cocoa quilt and Euro Shams b/c I loved the way it was pictured w/ them. I set them up on my bed exactly like the picture and it looks GORGEOUS. The other thing I absolutely love about this duvet cover is that it actually stays on my down insert correctly which I was honestly shocked by. This is my 2nd down insert, I threw out the first one b/c I thought something was wrong w/ it. No matter what I did, I couldn't get any duvet covers to stay over it properly. But then the same thing happened w/ the 2nd one. I tried numerous duvet covers from different companies but no matter what I did, the insert would gradually start slipping down under the cover. So there would be a huge portion on top that basically had no comforter under it which looked and felt awful. I finally figured the problem was that the sizes I was using didn't match so originally was going to order a new down insert from C&B too. But I decided just to try the duvet cover first and although it's larger than my insert, for some reason I'm not having any problems w/ the insert slipping down! I used the new cover for over a mth and had absolutely no problems. I was shocked(in a good way!). Not only does it look and feel grogeous, I was able to save $ w/ it by not having to buy yet another insert! Would highly recommend this duvet cover."

Gorgeous bedding, prone to pulling
"Let me start out by saying that this bedding is gorgeous. The colors and pattern are lovely but not overly feminine. The fabric is very silky to the touch. I paired this with one of the crate and barrel duvet inserts and they're a perfect fit together. My only issue with this bedding is that the threads pull easily. This probably wouldn't be a problem for non-pet owners. But between the cat and the dog, several threads have been pulled up. I've never had this problem with other bedding, so I think this fabric just might be more delicate that what I've had in the past. So I wouldn't recommend this bedding for people who let their pets sleep in the bed, but for anyone else, go for it!"

Sophisticated bedding
"We wanted to change the décor in our bedroom without having to paint or do any major redecorating. These bed linens offered the perfect solution! We ordered the entire set plus 2 dark brown Anujah Cocoa Euro Shams. I love the way the contemporary look transformed our entire bedroom. Plus, the sheets are very comfortable - soft and cool to the touch. Probably not suited for someone who prefers flannel. Now our bedroom looks stylish and updated. Highly recommend."

Quite Lovely
"I am used to purchasing 400 tc sateen sheets but this 300 tc works out very well. It is just a little lighter in weight, but that is fine as it feels quite nice. Needs more washings to get it exactly the way we like it, but right out of the packaging it was "good to go". One caveat; it is the fullest fitted sheet we ever bought and will fit a very large mattress.
Beautiful design - very uplifting!"

Beautiful pattern
"I am very pleased with the print on this. It is a terrific compliment to a neutral palette interior with a nod to the 1970s. As far as the quality of the fiber it is a bit less soft than I expected but still quite comfortable. I have slept on other Marimekko sheets that were softer in California so maybe it has to do with the water. In any event it's a worthy purchase. I would recommend! Especially fab with chocolate leather king headboard and soft satin Benjamin Moore paint on walls."

"Cotton is a traditional 2nd year anniversary gift and this was a fantastic choice! It looks and feels AMAZING! We absolutely adore the design, feel and comfort of this item. Beautiful design
"I was so excited for this duvet cover to arrive mainly because I was concerned that the internet photo colors wouldn't be true to form. But the colors are beautiful and exactly like the picture. The fabric is very high quality and I couldn't wait to get it laid out on my mattress. It has an immediate impact on any bedroom and is now the focal point of my bedroom. I am basing all of my future design choices around this one piece. Love it!"
