"I love this bowl i bought it on line, the problem is they come in different sizes. Some are smaller than other I bought two and they were two different sizes and colors. This item is great but should be bought at the store."

Fragile
"I love the color of this dish but as others have stated it is very fragile. It is heavy which was fine with me so it wasn't able to be easily knocked over however the cleaning of it takes a little time and I won't let anyone else (aka son or husband) wash it as I'm afraid it will crack. If your looking for a nice dish to either set out as a decorative piece or a nice salsa dish that won't be around little kids or aggressively handled then it's perfect."

Disappointed
"Loved the looks and feel of this product when I received it. I read the reviews before purchasing. I understood it had fragile qualities, so if I made sure to hand wash it no problems.....WRONG!!!!!! First time I put it under luck warm water it cracked! Very upset. Not going to even go through the process of returning it for a new one...too much trouble for a BAD product!"

"I purchased two of these beautiful glass molcajetes; one for myself and one to give as a gift. The bowl is a wonderful size for holding our favorite salsas and dips. I am very impressed with the sturdiness of this item as well as the lovely blue shade of glass. This glass piece is decorative as well as functional!"

"I use this bowl more for decorative purchases, although of course it's functional too. It just looks very pretty on my dining room sideboard. I would probably use it more if it were dishwasher safe."

Beautiful!
"I ordered several of these for a graduation party for my son. They were perfect for the salsas we made and we had two on each table, one for the green salsa and one for the red salsa. I loved the cobalt blue and turquoise hues in each dish, these were perfect and I received many compliments on the unique salsa dishes!"

Not Microwave Safe
"I hate to write this review because I really love this dish. I put it in the microwave to heat up some queso and it broke to pieces. Haven't read anywhere that it's not microwave safe. Perhaps I missed it?
As long as you don't put it in the microwave or dishwasher it is a really beautiful piece worth buying if you serve dips often."

Beautiful Salsa Bowl
"This salsa bowl is the perfect size for small gatherings. The beautiful deep blue color reminds me of the water in Mexico. The glass is very thick and great quality. I would definitely recommend this for your next Mexican Fiesta."

broke in dishwasher never used
"I see this is hand wash but i didn't know and what product now a days can't you put a dw. i have a high end miele and wash everything in it. i put the dish in the dw and took it and out and it split in half. i read now it says hand wash but still i put everything in there from baby bottles, china etc. for that reason i give this one star. i would send it back but feel because it does say hand wash in a sense it was my fault. cool bowl but if you won't mind hand wash it would be fine but the just way my life is i know that won't happen!"

"Buy this item at your local Crate and Barrel store, so you can hand select the one you like best. Each is unique in it's imperfections, since it is made with recycled glass. I love mine, but was grateful to have had a few to select from."

Great color and perfect size
"I received this bowl off my wedding registry. I saw it online, thought it was a great color and loved that it was made from recycled glass. Plus the little feet were really cute. Within days of receiving it we used it for a party and it was the perfect size for salsa. A number of guests commented on how great it was and that it looked beautiful out on the table. Super easy clean up! So far I love it!"

Pretty and Blue
"I fell in love with this bowl as soon as I saw it in the store. Such a pretty blue shade. Since it is a handmade item there is a lot of variance between the bowls - I chose the one with the most blue swirls. My plan was for this to be my guacamole dish but I discovered that I make too much guac to fit in here. :-) I've now set this on my kitchen counter to hold my keys which I was forever misplacing. Can't miss them now..."

Lust inspiring and husband proof
"I was having a party and needed a salsa bowl. During a cruise thru C&B I found my answer. Loved the dimentions, color and weight. Best of all, it's husband proof (so far).
Apparently I wasn't the only one inspired - two of my girlfriends went crazy over it and now between us we have 3! Who knew you could set a trend with a salsa bowl?"
