"I love the clean simple lines of this whole set. Good size bowls for portion control. Wish there was a matching big bowl for a giant bowl of soup or noodles. I think I need to buy another set... Good quality as well~"

Beautiful basic dinnerware with a modern feel
"We've been looking for months for the right dinnerware to replacing our aging and chipped white square plates. It was tough to find a basic but still modern plain white set. Verge fits the bill perfectly! The lipped edge gives it just enough of a different feel that moves it beyond a boring white dinner plate. And the shape of the bowls is definitely more interesting than your average bowl but still very deep and functional. It was a bonus surprise to see how well they stacked together saving TONS of cupboard space for some colorful appetizer plates."

the perfect modern everyday set
"I got fed up with the hodge-podge of dinnerware sets haphazardly stacked in my cabinets. I had been on the prowl for a modern white dish set that could easily be dressed up or down for any mealtime occasion. These dishes are PERFECT. The flared rims add just a touch of modern sophistication. They stack beautifully in cabinets and would look lovely displayed on open shelving. They are heavy, but not too heavy like some ceramic dishes I've had. The bowls are on the smaller side and have steep walls, which could annoy some people. I like them and think they are a better choice than square bowls that often come with modern sets. The white finish is nice and bright. Overall, I am very happy to have replaced all my dinnerware with four of these quality sets. They are worth the investment and seem to be holding up with very little wear after daily use."

love our new dinnerware
"We purchased a set in the store and just love it. Clean and simple. We also purchased a few medium squares for dips. etc along with a long rectangle for bread dipping and baguette-love!! A week later I received an e-mail from the Crate&Barrel outlet and added the small square's, larger square's, and 2 medium rectangles at a steal. They are a great complement to the set."

Love it!
"My wife and I received this set for our wedding from family and it is simply fantastic. We have used them daily for 7 months so far and have very little scratching or anything from utensils and they still look brand new. Only thing to watch out for is to make sure the bowls are dry or else when you stack them they might get stuck. Besides that, perfect dinnerware set!"

Verge Bowls
"These bowls are light and a great size for cereal, fruit, ice cream etc. A nice touch is to put fruit in the bowl, sit it on the counter so all can snack on fruits and it looks wonderful at the same time. No problem with size in dishwasher or cupboard.
I have square dishes so the Verge bowls break up the hard lines. It is a convenience to be able to purchase any of the items in a dinnerware set individually."

Wonderful dishes from a wonderful company
"I originally ordered another set of dishes from C&B but, when they came, the white had a beige tone to it, so it didn't go with other white pieces very well. C&B were SO awesome to work with! They helped me get the other pieces returned and get these shipped out . I really can't say enough good things about C&B and their customer service.
But, on to the dishes. :)
I've had these for a few months now and they're our daily use dishes, as well as what we use for dinner parties. The clean lines and basic white color make these perfect for any occasion. We love to dress them up with different table settings for every holiday. But, for dishes we use every day, we couldn't be happier. They are beautiful, timeless and constantly get complimented by guests (in fact, two of my friends have bought Verge sets now).
These dishes hold up really well - they aren't handled with white gloves around here - and they're super easy to clean. After months of serious use, I'm happy to report that every single item looks brand new.
We don't drink coffee in our house and have a bunch of random mugs, so I didn't get the set with mugs. They'd never be used."

"We were looking for some salad/sandwich plates to repace some old ones that are getting very worn. We wanted something that was microwave safe. These were the perfect size and design. The only drawback is that they are not quite as white as advertised. They have a bit of a grey cast, so they don't look as good as we hoped against our other white china."
