Designed in 1956, Kivet (stones) marked the beginning of the close relationship between the legendary designer Maija Isola and Marimekko. A simple yet modern pattern, originally created by cutting paper circles with scissors, Kivet has been recreated in a variety of colors since its inception in black on white. Its simplicity makes the pattern an iconic and fundamental Marimekko print, representative both of the company's philosophy and graphic legacy. "I love Marimekko designs, and I think these sheets are great. The fitted sheet in the full size set that I ordered seems to run big and would fit easily over a pillowtop mattress."

Love them!
"Fantastic price although didn't turn out quite as I had expected. I have another set of Marimekko sheets that are supposedly the exact same material, but these feel much different - less satiny. Ended up not being a big deal - I still love them. They fit well although are a bit big. I expect them to shrink down a little over time so I think they will work out well. Highly recommended (especially at this price!)"

highly dissappointed
"Fabric quality is poor. Size does not fit matress size - it is worse than a sloppy fit. Stitching fell apart after one washing but before using. I am surprised and dissappointed that Crate and Barrel, a retailer I thought I knew well, would stock something of this poor quality and equally, if not more surprised, that Marimekko is using such poor fabric and manufacturing. Marimekko was once famous for excellent fabric, not any more. I returned these in person and the Crate and Barrel representative was very polite. Thank goodness I got my money back. These were awful."

Great Sheet Set
"The quality of these Marimekko sheets are great! The fitted sheet is also roomy enough so it's easy to get the corners over properly with plenty of space. We love the modern look and are so happy with the transformation of our room!"
