Marimekko Kivet Black Bed Linens
Designed in 1956, Kivet (stones) marked the beginning of the close relationship between the legendary designer Maija Isola and Marimekko. A simple yet modern pattern, originally created by cutting paper circles with scissors, Kivet has been recreated in a variety of colors since its inception in black on white. Its simplicity makes the pattern an iconic and fundamental Marimekko print, representative both of the company's philosophy and graphic legacy. Reversible duvet cover has a hidden button closure at the bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Matching pillow sham has a 1 flange and generous back flap closure. -Pattern designed by Maija Isola; 1956 -100% cotton percale -300-thread-count -Machine wash cold -Made in Pakistan

Love love love
"The print is bold and fun. It seems to be very high quality (which I would expect from C&B) and the outlet price is absolutely unbeatable. Unlike every other piece of fabric in the world, my dog's fur just brushes right off it, though, because he's black and white spotted, we sometimes lose him in it! So glad I just bit the bullet and ordered this after looking for just the right duvet/quilt/coverlet for weeks."

BIG FAN . . .
"I have many Merimekko comforters and sheet sets and I love them. The designs and colors work great in my house and the quality is second to none.
I starch and press them after washing for my guest bedrooms because they look better, but just iron the pillow cases and shams for our everyday use."

"Love the set. The sheets feel very silky and fit the king sized bed well. I particularly love the contemporary feel it gives to the room. The teal coloved C&B throw pillows that I had previously purchased really pop next to this set."

great design, hope you like gray
"First of all, at the sale price these are a great deal. Unfortunately, when we washed them for the first time (separately and in cold) the pillowcases went gray in the white parts. Oddly, the white parts of the fitted sheet and duvet stayed white, so I am assuming that the pillowcases must have been from a different batch of fabric? I guess we will just find plain black replacement pillowcases..."

What a steal!
"Sleek modern styling makes this duvet cover a must have. Bold print will transform the look of any room. Add accent pillows in a bright color to give even more POP to this set! Fabric is soft and not too thick or too thin. Duvet cover fits my duvet perfectly. I've washed it once and it looks just like new still. I bought mine on sale, and would recommend purchasing this set while it is still available!"

"Love the design/size/feel....bought the king duvet and 2 shams....but just washed the pillowcases according to wash instructions and the black has bled into the white with lots of little black 'splodges' everywhere.
Very disappointed. I live in NZ so won't be able to return these for a refund. I must say I expected a better quality fabric for the money I paid."

"Marimekko creates the most beautiful textile designs and I just cannot seem to get enough of!
I especially love the contemporary designs in black, white and red. These colors are very hard to find ,especially in a King size. The quality is outstanding - the best there is.

Great duvet cover!
"My husband and I were skeptical about purchasing a duvet and duvet cover. We had heard about problems with bunching, etc. But, we quickly fell in love with this cover - as we completely redecorated our master bedroom with warm gray tones. This duvet was a perfect addition!! It added some spunk and creativity to the room. It also has little ties at each of the four corners to tie onto an insert to help with the bunching. We've had this product for over a month and have not had any problems."
