Designed in 1964 by Maija Isola, the Unikko (poppy) design has been the most popular Marimekko print since its introduction. Challenging the common notion of decorative florals, Unikko broke from tradition with its creative pop art interpretation in bold, simplified pattern and bright color. Reproduced in infinite color combinations over its 47-year history, the pattern remains current while symbolizing the free spirit of its designer and those who admire it. -Pattern designed by Maija Isola and Kristina Isola; 1964/2000 -100% polyester -Machine wash -Made in Taiwan

"I purchased the Unikko shower curtain in red to replace my old vinyl one in the same Unikko pattern. I also bought a shower curtain liner, which probably isn't necessary, but I am glad I got it because it will keep the new curtain in good shape. I love how the new curtain looks. It is well made. Like other reviewers, I needed to hem it because it was way too long and was dragging on the floor. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to bother shortening it."
"I've used this shower curtain for three months now and it still looks great, my guests are always complimenting it. I own the blue version, it works very well to mute all the yellow tile in my bathroom and make the bathroom appear more modern than it is."
"I am a big fan of Marimekko designs and I finally gave in and purchased the shower curtain. It just brightens up the whole bathroom and I love being in there. The quality is really good and it looks fabulous! I highly recommend it!"
"The edges of this shower curtain have been hemmed BUT the pattern doesn't go all the way to the edge so it looks tacky and unfinished. The copyright is printed on the edge, too, in HUGE type. Disappointed."

"I got this shower curtain to replace a plastic one (I know - why did I have a plastic shower curtain in the first place). It was cheap and it did the job. But this is absolutely wonderful. I will never go back to plastic. It's like adding a piece of art to my bathroom. It's actually a statement piece. I'm so happy. No complaints. Love it."
