Halo Ebony Dining Table with 48 Glass Top
Halo's simple beauty lies in its open presentation of materials, construction and design. The "halo" is a trick of light created by the glass top that's perfectly flat on the surface but has a deep, light-refracting reverse bevel on the underside. A solid chestnut wood base echoes the halo with its own center top ring in a deep, rich ebony. Dark, minimal flared legs and an architectural cross-brace of the same wood connect so precisely that no screws or nails are required. Also available in a cognac finish. Choose from three glass tabletop sizes. Lovely table

"I have a bright sunny living room/dining area and didn't want to add bulky furniture. When I saw this table, I knew it was what I wanted. The configuration of the base allows a flexible arrangement of chairs around the table. Plenty of room for a dinner for 4 and If you serve buffet style, you can easily accommodate 6 people around it.
The glass is very thick and solid. I have paired it with an eclectic mix of 2 antique and 2 slip covered chairs - and it is lovely that the pretty needlepoint seat of one is not hidden from sight.
When lit from above, there is a lovely halo on the floor also."

Beautiful, well made table

"This is a beautiful, well made table. Very high quality materials and very sturdy. The 48" glass top is thick and extremely heavy, so there's no chance of the table ever tipping over. We bought it in the ebony color, which is actually a dark brown. It could best be described as a dark walnut color, as there are no reddish undertones as with mahogany. We live in a small condo, so a table with a glass top was the perfect choice for our space. It really opens up our dining area and will be the perfect size for a breakfast nook when we move into a house. We've had it for several months now and look forward to many more years of enjoyment."

ebony color description is incorrect

"If you're looking for a black table, this is not it, despite it being described as ebony. The finish is clearly a mid dark brown. I bought the Pullman chairs to match; these have ebony legs, which really are black. So they don't match the table.
Very disappointed."

"I have a very small dining area and this table fit perfectly! It can easily fit 4 chairs, but looks nice with 2 when I don't have people over and need the space. The table top is heavy and it is a really nice product. I would definitely recommend it."

"While it did take a while for the table to be delivered (yes, white glove service can be slow) I was thrilled when the table was all setup. I don't have a large dining room, so this table really helped open up a small area while still providing me ample space to setup a meal. I paired the table with green Parsons chairs and the color popped so well with the rich dark base. I am extremely pleased and proud to own this table!"

"Love this table. The glass is thick and contoured and so far it seems to be scratch resistant. The wood base is solid and doesn't feel cheap. The delivery guys unpacked everything and centered the glass. It is heavy though so if you plan on moving it more than once in a while don't get this one."

"I bought this table a few years ago and love it. The lines are fabulous and maintenance is a breeze. The style works beautifully with my eclectic home. What's especially nice is that even though it's designed to seat four, depending on the width of dining chairs, you can actually seat six by ading two smaller folding chairs!"

"I bought this table over a couple of years ago and I just love it!
We changed our living room and dining room decor to a very modern, clean, contemporary design, with dark wood, brushed stainless steel and frosted glass accents. The halo glass top and the dark wood base, looks just beautiful together and blends very well with our new decor.
I also like this table because our kitchen is very small and it is also our dining room. Since we do not have a lot of space, having a clear glass table top makes the room look less crowded and more open."

"I recently purchased my first apartment and dreamed of having the 'big' dining room table. Unfortunately, big and NY don't always go together. I searched for the largest table that I could get for my small dining room / living room area. The 60" table would have been too tight for my space, so the saleswoman suggested I go with the 48" table since I was buying 6 Folio leather chairs. She was right, it was the perfect fit for my space. I've had 6 people around the table sit comfortably - enough elbow room without sitting knee to knee. The table itself is sturdy and the glass is thick and heavy. I looked at alot of glass tables, and this one was thicker and had a nicer look to it. The beveled edge makes a difference. As with any glass table, you just need to windex it pretty often or use placemats to keep it clean."

"We love this table. We got this table as a kitchen table, but we didn't have a traditional spot for a kitchen table. The glass table keeps my kitchen look open and uncramped whereas an all-wood table would make the kitchen seem smaller.
2 complaints:
1. The table wobbled a tiny bit. It wasn't a big deal since I was able to put a non-scratch pad under one leg to fix it.
2. The white glove service, while great, is slow. Even though the furniture was in stock, it tooks 3 weeks for them to deliver it since their drivers couldn't come out to our neighborhood until then. So, be aware that even though an item might be in stock, it can take a lot longer to deliver."
