Problem solved!
"After putting a natural wax product on my indoor madrone hardwood stairs they became so slippery that I was afraid I was going to kill a few of my friends and family. My dogs who freely came up and down on the past carpeted stairway-now were avoiding them!
These Crate and Barrel treads have created a way to save my family and friends from disaster! But, preserved the look of my hardwood floors. I can remove these and shake and vacume easily. Dogs and people no longer slip! Problem solved!"

Excellent Quality
"These treads are just as described, held tight to my steps, and looked great. The only issue I have, and it's minor, is how they are packaged. They're rolled up, and it takes a very long time for the treads to completely lay flat. One short edge on each remained bumped up slightly for a while!"

"I bought these stair treads for use on my indoor wood stairs to prevent my dog from slipping. They look just
like the website photo and they work well. Not that crazy about the color choices, but my dog is now going up and down the stairs with no problem!"

Excellent traction
"I ordered the stair treads to cover the top stairs on our wooden floors because my dog kept slipping and hesitating when going downstairs. They work great! So far staying in place, without any adhesive. He now goes down them "with confidence", and I figure it will help people not slip , too. They look nice, too. Pricey, but worth it and look great."
