"When it came time to buy a new bed, I knew in my head what I wanted. I shopped all the other places with no success. I walked into C&B and lo and behold, there it was--the bed I had envisioned. The Scholar Bed is a classic. It's just like the bed my grandparents had years and years ago (with a slight modern twist). The bed mixes perfectly with those treaures as well as the contemporary items. I love this bed!"

"I had debated whether I wanted a headboard or a full bed, and I am SO glad I chose the full Scholar Bed! It is exactly the style I wanted for my guest room, and beautifully made! Boys Bed Frame
"The frame is very sturdy. It is darker than I thought it would be from the product description. When it said a steel tube, I was picturing more of an overall silver hue. The frame is darker, but it is very nice."

LOVE.
"I absolutely LOVE my new scholar bed! I love everything about it. It's dark, has simple clean lines, and the price was considerably lower than the beds at the "high end" furniture store. It's also very well made and sturdy. And, on top of everything else, the guys who delivered the bed and put it together were amazingly friendly. Thumbs up Crate and Barrel."

Scholar Worth Every Dollar
"My wife and I finally made the purchase after looking all over for the perfect classic bed. We returned to Crate&Barrel after being extremely impressed with the build quality and attention to detail found in our previous purchases. Great Guest Bed
"We recently moved from a loft-like condo to a 1950's ranch with a smaller foot print. We were looking for a bed that would read light and airy, with a bit of tradition and modern style mixed. The Scholar Bed was the perfect blend. It's very well made and we are please with how sturdy it is. If I had the space, I would have purchased two full-sized beds to have for guests in the same room, but a Queen will have to do. The style is flexible that the bedding can be easily changed and updated as I love to play with bedding collections."
