"This curtain rod is a quality product. Easy to install and looks wonderful. Clean modern design. My only complaint is that the 170" rod cannot be used to the full length without a dip where the pieces meet. This is not very noticeable once the curtains are hung. I would buy this again given the choice and would recommend as well. Hard to find a nicer product for the price."

Excellent product
"We originally ordered the same rod in the dark bronze finish and found it to be too red for our decor. The matte nickel is perfect. The rod is sturdy, has a nice finish, and was very easy to install. FYI, we bought the 48-88 length, and it came with 3 brackets rather than 2 as stated; though it probably would have been fine with 2, being fairly solid. Highly recommend."

Can't use other hanging hardware!
"I don't know about you, but I never trust the hardware given to me with the drapery rods. In fact, my living room drapes would be lying in a heap on the floor had I used another manufacturer's provided hardware (those drapes were HEAVY). So I began the project with toggle bolts in my drywall/plaster walls (1959 precursor to today's drywall) but when I had to slide the hanger over the installed plate, the hanger could not slide over the ever so slightly protruding screw I had used. I broke the plate and had to fly with only two drape supports on this window as opposed to the three provided with the wider rod. Bad, bad, bad design. I recommend this ONLY if you have lightweight drapes to be able to use the provided wimpy molly hardware."

A very good idea
"Ah you're wondering whether you should or should not buy this product aren't you? Well let me help you out. I bought these rods for all our downstairs windows about 4 years ago. They still look just as stunning as I thought they would; no usage stains and they are not sagging in the middle. Also they were easy to hang up even in a bay window. Upstairs I was trying to save money and bought cheapy cheapy hardware. That was not a good decision so please don't make that mistake. We are now replacing those stained sagging rods with these ones."

top quality
"I googled far and wide for a mod-looking, telescoping, metal curtain rod for our deck doors. Crate&Barrel was the winner by a long shot. We really like the clean, simple design of this rod. When it arrived, we were really delighted. It's very heavy gauge metal, and even though we telescoped it within 3 " of its max length, it still is very stable, tight, secure in the middle section. This baby clearly will last without failing. After seeing how strong and thick the metal is, this rod is a bargain at the price--much more reasonably priced than the many others we considered. Way to go, Crate&Barrel!"
