Large ice mat great for my dog in the summer
"I bought this for my lab who has skin allergies and loves to lay outside but gets so hot in the summer. I had my dog at an outdoor festival and towards the end of the day, he started laying on ice piles as people emptied their coolers. That gave me the idea and I started looking for cool beds. Nothing was quite right and then I say C&B ice mat. My dog is a little leary of it but I think it's going to work. If not, I'll use it as intended in my cooler. I bought the large. It freezes fast and folds well to fit."

Best ice packs
"Hello. These seperate & flat ice mats are great as they wrap around ice chest items easily since they are flexible. They're also great for your knee, arm, or back injury. Yeah, no kidding! :) Buy several and they are sold here at the Crate & Barrel in smaller size packs, too. I believe each "ice cube" holds plain water. I DO recommend placing each ice pack/pad into a baggie before you place it in the freezer or ice chest. The baggie will help to protect against any punctures from other items & reducing the risk of a leak. GREAT Item & stores flat. Second time I've re-ordered these ice mats. :)"

Leaked on first use
"I ordered two, one leaked on first use. There was green liquid spilled throughout the cooler. Not sure what the liquid consists of so I don't consider it a food safe purchase. Not good quality. And I don't think it really lasts 30% longer than ice. . ."

Could not live without this!
"I purchased an item like this quite a few years ago from a warehouse store and over time I lost one or two of them or they were thrown out by accident at a party and i tried many times to find a replacement. I stumbled onto these at Crate and Barrel and also found them on another web that shipped directly from the manufacturer. Well, I hate paying for shipping charges and coming from the manufacturer, the shipping charges on a $50 order was going to be $36!! That made Crate and Barrel a steal!!! I purchased quite a few of these. I cannot get my grocery shopping and errands done without them! I use these "Ice Pillows" with my thermal shopping bags and I can be out all day grocery shopping and doing other errands and food stays cold or frozen even in the summer. So, if you work and your week-ends are for getting everything done, these are a must! We also use them in a cooler when we travel or go to the beach. Once you have used them, you will wonder how you ever lived without them!"
