Love it!!
"My husband and I had gotten some gift certificates to Crate & Barrel for our wedding and we were so excited because we wanted so bad to buy this rice cooker because we loved rice and the reviews on this product were great! We finally got it and so far it lives up to its great reviews! It is so easy to use, comes out perfectly each time, plus the bowl is non stick so it is really easy to clean up! I would for sure recommend this to anyone!"

Newbie is in love
"This may sound crazy to many of you, but until my doctor took me off of gluten, I had NEVER cooked anything other than rice in a microwave. The Zojirushi rice cooker makes perfect rice every time. All you do is pour in rice, add water up to the easy to read marker, close the lid, press the button and your rice is ready in 45 mins. While it cooks the house is filled with its delicious aroma. Enjoy!!"

Best Purchase Ever!
"This is hands down one of my favorite items purchased ... period!! Perfect rice ... better than the most expensive Japanese restaurant. Perfect oats = the best organic breakfast imagineable! We like to create an oat bar where everyone can add their favorite toppings ... honey, agave, cinnamon, berries, cottege cheese, etc. ... FABULOUS!
Everyone loves the arrival of Fall/Winter because it signals the arrival of yummy oats."

Makes Perfect Rice and Oats
"Cooker was Christmas present. We have used the cooker for white and brown rice, and steel cut oats. It's simple to use, and always turns out perfect. You just need to get used to allowing sufficient time for cooking, e.g., 1 to 1.5 hours for steel cut oats for breakfast."

"For months I have been trying to make brown rice that is not sticky. Finally, I saw this rice cooker at the store and I saw the brown rice button....YES!!!at last!!! Great little rice maker
"This rice cooker is great for a single person or a small family. And it is easy to use - add water, rice, select the correct rice type, close the lid and let it do its thing. You can even have tell the cooker to have your rice done at a certain time and it will do it."

Perfect rice every time
"This little gadget is amazing, I use this for quinoa too. Add dried herbs at the beginning and the rice is so perfect without oil or salt. And if you read the directions, there is some way to make a cake! I have not gotten to that yet. Added bonus, instead of a loud buzzer, it plays a song when the rice is ready. so cute!"

Rice So Easy
"This rice cooker makes the best rice (like you get at a high end bistro). Its easy to use and clean - and you really can't mess the rice up when you follow the directions.
Remember to add the rice and THEN add the water to the line for the amount you are cooking - easy!"

"I did extensive research prior to purchasing this rice cooker. It is worth every single penny! I eat a lot of rice and use this to make it daily. Sometimes I cook steel cut oats overnight and it makes a perfect breakfast. There is never any worry that anything put in the Zo will turn out less than perfect."

Best little rice cooker
"Familiar with Zojirushi while living in Japan. Owned a similar one. I really feel for a large family, it is too small but for a family of 4 or if you only wish to cook up to 3 cups it is extremely helpful and I would highly recommend it. It makes the perfect rice!"

It *is* the best rice cooker ever.
"Love this and use it all the time; it cooks a lot more than rice. Steel cut oatmeal; set the timer the night before and it will be ready in the morning. Polenta. No more waiting for brown rice either, you can start it in the morning and have it ready whenever you want dinner. Takes two seconds to clean. Fantastic. Makes about four to five cups total, good for a small family."

LOVE MY RICE
"Registered for and received this gift as a wedding present. Very happy it made the list. I'm big on rice, and this cooker can handle any type. White/brown, short/medium/long grain. Easy to use, easy to set, easy to clean. Even plays a lovely tune when you start and when rice is done. It does take a little longer to cook than usual stove top methods, but it's worth it in the end. I did wish it displayed the amount of time left the whole way through the cooking process, but it seems to only countdown from the last 5 minutes or so."

More than a rice maker!!
"Not only does this make perfect brown and white rice, it also makes perfect steel cut oats, risotto and quinoa.
The best, by far, is the steel cut oats---set up the night before (2.5 water to 1 oats) on the 'porridge setting, with the timer you can wake up to perfect, hearty oatmeal!! No stirring!! It's the best.
I like the size of it. I think it's best for a singleton-family of 3. Anymore than that and I'd buy the next size up.
I highly recommend this item!"
