Nice bowls, poor lids

"I like these bowls for prepped veggies, extra sauces or small amounts of leftovers. They stack nicely and you can see what is in them without having to move things around. The one down side is the lids. As others have mentioned they warp easily, even in hot tap water, and then tend to pop off. Replacement lids are available for $0.50, but they will warp in time as well."

They break easily

"I bought 1 set about 8 months ago. I used them for everything. However I only have a couple left because they break easily. I haven't had the problems with the lids mentioned in some of the other reveiws, but I don't put them in the microwave."

Love These Multi-Use Bowls!

"Love these pint-sized bowls with lids! I bought them a year ago and still haven't run out of ideas for using them in the kitchen. The stackable glass bowls wash beautifully in the dishwasher and the lids are a snap to hand wash. No breakage, no problems, and very economical. Where have these been all my life?"

"I love these bowls for taking breakfast and lunch to work. They're not heavy so I can bring 3 bowls in my lunch bag without it weighing a ton. It would get 5 stars if the lid was a bit better. You can't use the lid in the microwave or dishwasher. Also, be careful when taking it out of the microwave. It can get very hot!"

Don't waste your money

"I received these as a wedding present, and was really excited to have glass containers for leftovers. However, not only do the plastic tops melt in the microwave, they are even sensitive to hot water from the tap: all of mine are warped now, 3 months later.
The glass is also very thin....we have only half of the containers that we started with due to chips and cracks. I'm really disappointed in this product."

"Just received our third order of these bowls. Bought our first 4 years ago. Guess Crate and Barrel has been reading the reviews that the tops get ruined in the microwave because they sent 6 extras with our order--awesome! These are perfect for single servings of all kinds of things--especially soups. Careful--the glass gets hot in the microwave."

"The first this you notice is how small these bowls are. I bought them thinking they would be great for leftovers. When they hold barely more than a cup, this is not very useful. But the most annoying thing about these tiny little bowls with lids was the individual price tags on each and every one of them. Twelve in all. And not the easy to remove ones. No, these were the kind you needed acetone to remove the stickium. Definitely not worth the trouble."

"I love love love these bowls. I bought them to replace my plasic storage containers, and I'm so happy I did. They are perfect for my husband and I to take lunch to work in, and to store leftovers. "I have used plastic storage containers for years... Glass are so much nicer! They store food better, and food even seems to keep for longer. They are nice because they stack nicely both in the refrigerator and in the cupboard. One thing to mention, dont microwave the lids... they don't fit as well after they have been microwaved."

"They are great for storing applesauce, pudding, and other desserts in. You can make a big recipee and devide it up into individual servings. Or when you separate your egg whites from the yokes so if you are only using the whites, you can keep the yokes in a bowl until you make that cake tomorrow.
If you have a couple scoops of ice cream left but your running out of room in the freezer you just put the last of the icecream into a bowl and voila, more room. Basically , i'm always finding more uses for them. They are just handy to have. Plus they look nice and not like tuberwear.
