Good addition to small kitchen
"Overall we are pleased with this piece. Good sized unit, adds lots of much needed storage to our kitchen in a very attractive and stylish way. Has made kitchen prep easier, and the drop leaf is great for adding additional space when needed. I like that the doors glide instead of swing open, it allows us to unload the dishwasher and still access the unit.
Assembly was okay, instructions were easy to follow and very clear, took about 2.5 hours to unpack and fully assemble. However attaching the top was a challenge! The top secures with same allen wrench as most of the unit, but two of the screws are in a very tight narrow space, hidden from view, all the way at the back that only allows a quarter turn. My husband gave up in frustration and left me to finish, I would say a large portion of assembly time was devoted to securing the top in place. There has to be an easier and better way to attach the top.
I also wish the top had a different finish. After only a few days of use, sadly I noticed there is already an etched water ring on the surface.
However, we are happy with our purchase, and would buy again."

Great storage
"We've had this kitchen island for a year and it still looks brand new. It's a great solution to add a little more storage to our kitchen and is really attractive. I'm thrilled with how it is holding up!"

Great Kitchen Island
"I LOVE this island. Not only was it easy to assemble, it is very sturdy and holds a ton of cooking pans, serving dishes, etc. The drop leaf top is perfect for entertaining as well. It has made my kitchen the "gathering place" whenever I entertain."

fantastic cart
"Bought this cart to help with kitchen storage; it is wonderful, classy, and solid. I put it together by myself, and while it would have been easier to do with another person, it is do-able by just one person, female at that! Not difficult, just the top is quite heavy to lift. Highly recommend this versatile cart if you need extra space or storage. Classy."

Perfect kitchen island
"I love this piece of furniture. We desperately needed extra storage space in our small kitchen and this works perfectly. It has a ton of room for storage and extra counter space. We also bought stools so it serves as our kitchen table too. Assembly was a bit of a challenge and you must have two people do to it."

Attractive but not Durable
"We purchased this in black two years ago. It is attractive. The castors work well to allow it to be repositioned.
The sliding doors have been extrememly problematic as the unit has aged. The tracks have warped and now at least once a week one or both doors fall off. The doors are then a pain to get back on the tracks. I would now only recommend this unit if the items to be stored in it are not accessed that often or it will be used for less than a year."

I Love It

Functionality meets style
"I've been eyeing this hutch for a while. We aren't using as an island. We are using it for additional storage against a wall. So we were soooo happy when we learned it came with permanent legs instead of just the wheels shown in the picture. It gives our kitchen a very old-world feel while still being modern. The farm-house white goes with our kitchen very well. I was a little nervous when I found out I had to assemble it, but it actually wasn't too difficult. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish and I was all by myself.
Last but not least, the fold out top is convenient. We have it kept down most of the time, but when we have people over for parties, it gives us just a tiny bit of extra countertop space for food and drinks.
Totally worth the money."

"I have owned and used this piece daily for the past 1.5 years and couldn't be happier with it. It receives heavy use since I have a small kitchen and this is my primary workspace. "I LOVE this island. It has added so much extra storage space and counter space to our kitchen. My husband was able to put it together without much difficulty. Because it is on wheels, it is easy to 1) move it around the kitchen to wherever your workspace is/near outlets, 2) clean the floor when you are done. It is very sturdy, and well constructed."

Exactly what I was looking for!
"I recently bought an older home with an updated kitchen and not much room for a table. I contemplating calling a carpenter to build a custom island suitable for my two young boys to eat and do homework. A friend had mentioned she received one as a housewarming gift so I looked into it.
