A bit of advice for selecting cloth napkins...

"First of all, I love, love, LOVE my 12 Multicolored Napkins!
That said, here's a bit of advice for selecting cloth napkins... (in case you grew up in a paper napkin house like me):
Solid colored napkins will show stains, grease spots, and detergent marks like crazy!
Patterned napkins are much better at hiding small irregularities like those random darker "stains" that are obvious on solid colored napkins.
I've had these experiences with solid napkins from several different stores and in several different colors. Oddly enough, I think the white ones are actually the best at hiding these marks because you can bleach them. This rule might not hold for white napkins with pastel or lighter patterns printed on them. Most of our stuff is boldly colored.
That said, I still love the unexpected look of different colors around the table and am currently wishing for the multicolored cocktail napkin set to coordinate."

"I love these napkins. Great vibrant colors. I have the Carnvale Table Cloth and they look great with it as well as many cloths and runners I already had. I even bought a set for our office to bring color into our Board Room luncheons. I always use cloth napkins so I love the no iron easy care."

"I have the white cuisine dinnerware and these add a great color splash to the table. I use them on a weekly basis b/c I throw them in the wash with everything else and they do NOT need ironing which is great. When I was studying in France the woman I lived with reused dinner napkins a couple of days in a row with light use before washing them. Each person was designated their own napkin which could be identified with your different colored napkin ring. Same could be done here with the different color napkins if use is light. But maybe Americans wouldn't go for that!"

"While the multi-colored napkin set seems a bit expensive, it is well worth the money. The napkins clean well, do not need ironing for reuse, and have so many color schemes within the set of 12 that I have virtually used them throughout the year for hosting during summer, fall, winter or spring months."
