"Recently purchased these small trifle bowls to be used with my larger bowl. I'm very pleased with the quality, wished I would have opted to buy an additional set. There are a few very minor defects but nothing that would alter my review. If these are something that you are looking for or are interested in you won't be dissapointed."

Cute but not elegant

"I think of trifle bowls as dainty, but unfortunately these are not. They seem "cheap" as the glass is super thick and you can see the seam from top to bottom. However they're definitely sturdy and cute enough for icecreams, puddings, etc. I'll keep them for the novelty but was a bit disappointed."

"Great product at a great price! I found this at a high end kitchen store for $4.25 each and I paid a little over $2.00 for the same thing!
Used them the same weekend I got them. They make great individual dessert dishes."

"it's by anchor and did research online and so far, this was the cheapest set i found and i bought 12 altogether and love it. i used it for for puddings and all kinds of yummies =) looks so good and i love how thick they are. so worth the money."

"I generally like Crate&Barrel stuff, but I agree with another reviewer that these bowls look cheap. The glass is cheap looking and heavy. The idea is cool but the execution is not. I would instead recommend the ice cream bowels that are in the regular catalog for about the same price."

"I was very disappointed in the poor quality of these trifle bowls, and in fact, two arrived with chipped rims. I returned all 12. Ugh."

"A show stopper at a recent dinner party-- with individual trifle dishes for everyone's dessert. Keeps the presentation beautiful, as a trifle doesn't look nearly as beautiful scooped onto a plate. Everyone wanted to know where I got them --of course we laughed, because they know, where else but Crate and Barrel."
