More than a teaspoon

"I haven't used the item yet, but I did measure how much sugar fits in that little cup, and it's about a TABLESPOON, not a teaspoon. So don't be fooled into thinking your portion is properly controlled if you want the equivalent of one sugar packet (which is one TEASPOON).
The product description should have specified the exact amount -- "spoonful" means different things to different people. If you're watching your sugar intake (the main reason this dispenser interested me), one tablespoon is too much sugar!"

"My parents wanted to replace their diner-style sugar dispenser that measured a teaspoon at a time. I looked for a long time before finding this gem. It has a large capacity and the hourglass shape is easy to grip. I bought two dispensers and they are delighted!"

"Nicely crafted, attractive, and good price value. Was a bit hesitant re the chrome-colored plastic top, but it's solid, and the whole unit is far more attractive than many dispensers I've seen. Works well."

"Looks & works great! Though the lid is plastic, the finish is nice enough that it doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the product. Be sure to keep the lip of the jar clean to allow the lid to go on smoothly. I've been looking for a sugar dispenser nice enough to keep on the counter for a long time.........this is it."
