"I was impressed at how easy it is to turn the handle. I did not even realize that the can was open at first. You have to use the lip-removing pinchers on the side to open the lip. What really impressed me is that there are no sharp edges on the lid or the can. Now, I just need to see if it will stand the test of time. I have never had a can opener that lasted very long. Maybe this one will."

"This is a great idea for a can opener because you will never cut yourself. You don't even have to touch the can top at all. I imagine even children could use this without getting hurt. Makes it fun to open cans too!"

"I've sliced my fingers open before removing can lids. Not anymore! I love that i never even have to touch the lid with this can opener. Other openers we've bought have broken within a couple uses, this one is going strong."

Easy to Use & No Mess

"It is very easy to use and doesn't create mess when open the can. Also really, there is no sharp edges on both can and lid, so I can clean the can and lid easily and nicely before toss into the recylce bin. I am very happy with the purchase. In addition, I saw similar items online and other stores, and they are way more expenisive than Create&Barrel offers."

"I had to read the instructions, but it was so worth it! It does not leave jagged edges, and the can opener never even touches the lid. An amazing invention, that thinks of you... it has one touch release that drops the lid in the garbage, saving your fingers from small cuts!"

"This is definitely the first can opener I had to read instructions on, hehe! BUT don't let that deter you, they are quick and easy to read and the can opener works great! No sharp edges when opening the can and it's so user friendly. This even impressed my mom ... which says a lot!"
