"Really like these containers--they're both attractive and functional. It's a breeze to open and close the lids--as a result they would be perfect for someone with arthritis. My only complaint is that you need two hands to lift the large square containers. But that's a minor quibble."

Scratches Easily

"The plastic is very soft. I hand-washed all of the canisters with a soft sponge that had a gentle "scrubber" side. It is the same I use for all my plastics and crystal-ware to prevent scratching. Even after a single, gentle hand-wash some of the canisters were so "frosted" with scratches that I consider them ruined."

Love These Containers

"I got hooked on these containers several months ago, and I've been buying tons of them. They are so easy to use. The lids are wonderful when your hands are dirty--use the elbow to seal or unseal. If you have arthritis, these would be great. No more trying to force something to seal. The lids look complicated, but totally come apart for easy cleaning. They stack nicely in the cabinet, and no more guessing what's in a container. Put dried out raisins in them, and the raisins softened. Love these guys."

"I read all the reviews on this product before
purchasing as you get honest insight to the pros & cons of every item. Two things that convinced me to try the product was the clean , clear look of the container and the easy open top. I use it specifically to store pancake mix. My husband likes to make pancakes on Sunday. When he first saw the container he said it was OK. Today after using it, he said " I 'll tell you one thing, It sure is easy to open & close. That alone would make me buy more."

Oxo Pop Containers - best canisters ever!

"These Oxo Pop containers are absolutely awesome. For decades I've had tupperware cannisters to hold my staples, like sugar, flour, dried beans, etc...but you always have to wrestle the tops off, then end up covered in whatever you have inside. These are air tight with the touch of a button and release with the touch of a button. I plan to buy more of these, as I see other items I need to store in this type of container...."

"I like the basis of this line of storage containers:
easy to open

What I don't like is how easy it is to crack the containers. The impact resistance of the polycarbonate bin is low at best. A drop off the counter and you're on your way to buy a new container.
I like this product line enough to say buy it, but be careful with it."

"I broke down and bought a few of these since we always ended up with stale cereal and stale crackers. These are great because there are so many sizes, there is a size for anything. I like the very clear plastic, so you know exactly what is in there. They are easy to use and durable and also clean well. Good investment!"

Easy open containers

"I purchased these to hold dry goods - sugar/flours, pastas, cereals, beans and crackers. All of the shapes are a great size for storing and stacking in my pantry and look really nice on the shelf. The pop lid is the best feature as I can easily open the containers without a screw top. When my hands are a little greasy from baking they are still easy to open and access my sugar and flour that I store in the large containers. Just take care when washing the lids so that water doesn't seep in."
