"My wife and I received the 8 piece set in addtion to the 7" Santoku and 8" Carvng knives. As already stated in previous reviews, they look great, cut even better than they look, and just feel "right" in my hand. The 7" Santoku is far and away my favorite knife."

"This is my first wusthof purchase and I am in love with this knife. It is very well balanced, the cutting edge is very sharp and it makes me think that everything I tried cutting with this knife has the consistency of room temperature butter. I can not wait to purchase more wusthof ikon series knifes."

"I had been looking for the perfect set of knives for a really long time (years) and finally decided on these. Having had used other Wusthof cutlery in the past, I knew that the blade would be good. With the Ikon set, not only are the knife blades extremely sharp, making slicing a breeze, but they also feel so wonderful to grip. I know that we will have these knives for decades, and that we made the perfect decision in buying this set. Not only are the knives utilitarian and ergonomic, but there is a sense of grace within each piece."
