"I picked up the larger one at the local store. It's a nice heavy-weight glass. I haven't had a problem with the lid. It fits nicely."

lids do not secure

"I love these containers but the lids do not secure properly. I have only had them for a week and tried them when I got home (without washing them) so I know that the lid did not shrink or anything due to high heat in the dishwasher. It just does not fit on there and it's so frustrating because I have tried everything to get the lids to stay on and they won't stay. I will either be returning them or re-purposing them."

Great!, but the lids are not.

"These are great items, however the lids never close properly. They always seem precariously set on the container, i.e. not very secure at all. Either I haven't gotten the hang of it or the design is poor. I say design is poor since it shouldn't be difficult to secure a lid."

"I have used these containers for food storage, as vases, and as holders for silverware at buffets. The large size holds 24 spoons or forks with ease! The glass is very clear and they have a hand-blown look. Great all-purpose container."

"I love these glass bowls . They are perfect for everything . I store beans and veggies in them and use them for leftovers..
They always look nice in the refrigerator as opposed to plastic containers .For the price they are a great deal.. They are small.
I also have the large size which is also perfect and they nest inside each other ..

"These storage containers are perfect for storing leftovers in the fridge, etc. I was so happy to throw away all of those mismatched plastic containers that just get trashed over time. These do lose one star though due to the fact that it is a little difficult at first to get the tops to stay on tightly. Once you get the hang of it, they're great."

"These containers are great; I use them along with a variety of other glass containers, as I've stopped using plastic containers. Don't microwave with the lid on, and I don't think these are oven-safe like Pyrex containers. Otherwise, these are fantastic!"

"I love these glass containers! I use these for my leftovers to take lunch to work, for extra dressings, or to keep my extra ground coffee/espresso fresh.
There's just something about glass that seems so much nicer than plastic tupperware.
They are dishwasher safe. I put the lids on the top rack and haven't had any problems getting them retain the same shape for a tight fit on the container.
I also really like that out of all the containers I have the lids on these fit the best so that I'm not nervous to carry my leftover soup in my bag on the way to work in the morning. I've never had a spill.

"I have the rectangular and round sets also and love them, but these sizes get the most use by far. Such a deal compared to plastic storage, for which you pay half as much and have to throw out! They are also perfect for serving dips, etc."

"I have several of these and I use them for everything: mixing and storing marinades and dressings, storing leftovers, heating in microwave. They actually hold quite a bit.
