Absolutely Not!!!
Date: February 24, 2010
"This product is not worth purchasing at any price! From the day I received this dish/utensil rack, I have had to Gorilla Glue most every joint and slat just to keep it together! And, it attracts mold that needs to be bleached in order to get it clean and sanitary. After spending so much time repairing it, I refused to simply throw it away soon after purchase. But, now I'm tired working so hard for a lousy dish rack!!! Do not purchase this product..."

Pretty but lacks function
Date: December 28, 2009
"Wow, wish I would have read the reviews before we bought the most expensive drying rack ever. We've had it for about a year and it is molding but not as much as most have mentioned. I leave it set up 24/7 so maybe more of the water drops off. We didn't have a dishwasher for the past year so it was used frequently. It is constantly falling apart and the bottom tray snapped from the bottom of the rack about 12 weeks in, I just put it back together daily.
Looks like most of the positive reviews are from people who just purchased this. If you're buying it for decor go for it - if you plan to use it save your cash and get somethin else."

Easy Storage, Small Utensil Rack
Date: December 23, 2009
"I love how easy it is to pull out the rack from under my sink and flip it open. I don't use the small utensil rack often, as it is a pain to attach or take off. I use the rack about once per day, and I have been checking for mold as described by other consumers. So for the past month, I have seen no sign of mold. I also like that it looks great compared to the plastic competition out there. My household is small, just my son and I. I also have a dishwasher that I run two times per week. I like to use the rack mainly to air dry wine glasses or anything I am afraid to put in the dishwasher."

disappointing

"I've used this now for over a year. The molding is a BIG problem and the construction isn't perfect either. From time to time the pieces fall apart. I would not recommend this product."

Unsatisfied
Date: November 14, 2009
"We use this rack constantly and it started to mold underneath and between the slats. It is functional as far as holding dishes is concerned but scrubbing mold off every month is not my idea of a good product. Buy something else."

"I ordered this for Christmas last year (sure, not the most romantic Christmas gift ordered for my fiancee, but practical). As we were removing it from the box, and applying only the slightest pressure to open the rack to its full glory, it literally fell apart in my hands. Ho ho ho..."

Poor decision
Date: September 15, 2009
"I was excited to get this attractive rack, and went to several C & B stores last year before I found one in stock. Within a month the bottom rack finally broke to the point of disrepair, and the sides of the rack were starting to mold. The rack was in a very well ventilated area, and I cleaned with constantly, so the mold was very frustrating. Wish i had saved the cash and bought a simple plastic rack."

It Fell Apart
Date: August 2, 2009
"Looked great at first, but the crosspieces aren't nailed to the frame and over time they started falling out like loose teeth. After a while we got tired of putting the bottom tray back together and it just rested on the kitchen counter. Agree about the silverware holder -- things fall to the bottom & you can't get them out without turning it over. Not worth the price."

Great rack poor cutlery basket
Date: July 29, 2009
"So far the rack seems great but when it arrived, both screws holding it together fell out. It turned out they had to screwed in in reverse...counterclockwise....not intuitive. Anyway, the rack is fine. However, the cutlery basket is very impractical. It is very deep but has no divider so all the cutlery falls down to the bottom and lies horizontally inside. A simple divider in the middle would take care of this issue.
On the whole, the rack and basket are very attractive and don't take up much space, but design should be heeded for the basket! C& B shipping and service have been exemplary!!!!

Bummer
Date: July 29, 2009
"At first, this was our favorite wedding gift. (Who gets excited over a drying rack? apparently I do?) It looked great in our tiny kitchen, held plates and cups and pots and was incredibly useful.
But within a month the entire bottom was covered in mold, and it has now been creeping up the sides as well. It's in a pretty well ventilated area, and seems to dry rather quickly, so we're not sure about the mold! Gross!
For a $50 drying rack, I'm not impressed in the slightest."

Disappointed
Date: July 27, 2009
"I had to get this rack replaced due to the first one being covered with Mold underneath and in the Utensil Holder. So with the replacement rack i made sure to change the towel underneath the rack frequently and i always made sure to use a very lightweight towel so it would dry quickly but in the end the new rack became covered with mold. I tried to clean it but it is impossible because it soaks in the wood. I am extremely disappointed."

Relieved
Date: July 20, 2009
"I was a little skeptical when I ordered this, because the reviews were iffy. But I love it so far! Seems like great quality, and very sturdy for my use (hand-wash stuff only... not major use). Great compliment to my kitchen decor."

Waste of Money
Date: July 12, 2009
"We purchased this dish rack because we liked the look of it and how small it was on our counter. However, we were very disappointed within a month. The hooks that hold the "removable holder" were apparently removable too because they came right off. It didn't seem too awful, as my husband is very resourceful and was able to reattach them. The worst part about this rack is the mold that grows all over the bottom tray. We finally just had to throw it away after only having it in our kitchen for a couple of months."

Nice looking, not-so-sturdy dish rack
Date: June 25, 2009
"I don't use my dish rack too often, but it works well. I agree with the other reviews that it is not too sturdy, but seems to do the job for me. Also, I like that it is made of bamboo. With my old dish rack, I used to get splinters every time I picked it up."

Want a dish rack that adds some color ...
Date: June 21, 2009
"Want a dish rack that adds some color to your countertop. We like our bamboo dish rack. It does the job nicely. Like all dish racks you have to be careful the way you put things into it b/c they might fall out of the slots an break but what do you expect. For the few items that you need to put onto it to dry e.g. pots, pans, lids, the odd plate or glass, it works well"

Like none that I've seen
Date: June 19, 2009
"I really like this dishrack because I had not been able to find any others like it exactly. I like that it has a flat bottom that you can drain delicate glasses on, rather than stacking them in the slanted section. And it's pretty enough to keep out in view!"
