Porto Daybed and Trundle

The look is clean and simple. But the skill and artistry that go into our classic spindle daybed are anything but simple. Contemporary open-rail design is hand-wrought steel, hand-forged into a gentle curve and detailed at the posts with hammered oval finials. Arms taper into a graceful swirl. The warm brown color is a custom-blend of three pigments, handpainted and rubbed to a subtle finish. Daybed accommodates a twin or bunk mattress. Trundle accommodates our 38x70 trundle mattress. Mattresses available (sold separately). -Solid and tubular steel -Powdercoat and painted finish -Hand-distressed -Daybed accommodates a twin or bunk mattress -Trundle accommodates our 38x70 trundle mattress -Made in China

Gorgeous Comfort

"Super furniture for a cozy room that serves as a den/library most of the time and a spare bedroom when we have extra company. It is comfortable, classy and functional. The trundle makes it especially helpful for that extra guest. My family is delighted with the Porto Daybed."

A+ Quality

"I purchased the daybed about a year ago for my guest room. The look and quality are great! Classic and contemperary. And it was super easy to assemble. I already owned a traditional trundle piece that fit nicley under the daybed (and it pops up too). But you will need a trundle size mattress."

trundle too short

"i love the bed, it's sturdy, well made, and looks great. the trundle is also sturdy, well made, and rolls really nice on the castors. the bed and trundle were very easy to put together. the problem is that the trundle is too short for a standard twin mattress. i didn't notice this size issue when i read the description. there is room under the bed to accommodate a full twin mattress. i would give 5 stars if the trundle was longer."

Granddaughter Approved!

"This bed is sturdy, comfortable and so classy. It is a beautiful guest bed for our spare bedroom. The trundle isn't real useful since it's so low to the ground. My grandaughters loved staying over and sleeping on it."

porto

"I was given this daybed as a wedding gift last year. It was the best gift by far that we received. It looks beautiful in our spare bedroom/office. It's exactly the right combination of traditional and modern that we were looking for. I think that considering the excellent quality the price is great. Thanks CB.

Love this daybed!

"I recently purchased the daybed & trundle combo and absolutely love it! The bed was delivered faster than expected and was packed very securely & is very easy to put together.
It looks great in my spare guest room and having the extra trundle is a bonus when space is tight.

only one complaint

"Bought two of these beds after we moved for my girls. They had been wanting daybeds and I didn't want to spend a fortune since it seems we have redecorated their room about every 3 years or so since they were born. I was hesitant because I do not typically like put together yourself furniture, but I was pleasantly surprised. The design is such that the bolt wholes are not present on the front, which would have been a deal breaker for me. I assembled both of the beds, by myself (even though it tell you to use 2 people) and it took me longer to get the parts out of the box and unwrapped than it did for me to assemble them. Mind you they are not rickety - but are not as solid & heavy as as cast iron bed. I think these beds are a great value.
My one complaint is the trundle only slides out - it doesn't pop up to make a level bed."
