"This works for me. I am single and most often prepare meals just for myself. I had the larger spinner which also works great if you are preparing meals for more than one or two. I now use the small spinner everytime I prepare a salad. The large spinner just seemed to be more work than useful for small salads. Storage space was also a problem. So, if it is just you and hopefully one other, go with the smaller spinner."

Wish it spun faster

"I bought this because I figured I have a small family and didn't need a large one, but I'm wishing I had a bigger bowl and faster spinner. I feel like I can spin and spin and my greens are still pretty wet. I try not to overload the spinner to allow for more water to escape, but it just doesn't seem to work as well as the monsters I'm used to from my childhood. I like the little brake option, though, as well as the non-slip ring which keeps it from bouncing off the counter while at top speeds!"

"This salad spinner is great, it's easy to use, cleans and drys the lettuce and greens nicely. Is large enough to put in good portions to dry. And the clean up is easy I just wash it out with hot water and set it up to dry and use again. About every other time I wash the bowl out with soap and water."

"This salad spinner is fantastic...compact to store, fun to use, and really dries the lettuce. My husband and I got this as a part of our registry and when we opened it he was more excited than I was! I don't think a larger one is necessary as this one holds nearly a whole head of lettuce."

"great little salad spinner for my apartment life. does plenty of lettuce in one round (and you can always do two if guests are coming) and the pump clicks down so it fits right onto my cabinet shelf.
