"Ok, positives first: Looks nice. Seems sturdy. I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity or how it handles wear. Good support from C&B.
On the negative side, it's very difficult to assemble this following the instructions as-is. There's two problems here: First, it's not just the directions fault - it's not easy to put together. It takes two people, preferably with a workbench. There's a confusing bit where you put a few pieces together and then match them to some more pieces, but there's nothing (but your partner) holding them together while you fumble around for the hardware. Secondly, after building two of these I'm pretty sure I could write up some better instructions, but I'll leave it to the pros and just make it known here that they might want to tighten up the instructions. An example of what you might hit is that the cams are supposed to be put into the holes to later align with the cam screws. Unfortunately, if you push the cams all the way into the holes, the cams will not line up with the cam screws and you'll be doing a lot of work to get the cam back out of that hole. I've assembled at least 10 of these cam/cam screw-type furnitures over the past few years and by far this was the most challenging and probably the only one that really required two people to do without damage (unless you have a well laid out workspace capable of making up for an assistant).
I did have a problem with assembling one of them and C&B support did help me out with a part that got damaged during assembly. So in the end all was good, but set aside 2 hours to build this and do it right."
