"My boyfriend's house filled with lovely crate and barrel furniture inspired me to finally shop there. I bought the 55" mohogany sliding door book case with the 55" mohogany open book case to put under my TV, and the wood is beautiful! It's 27" from the corner of the room, perfect to save up for more pieces from this collection to stack them along-side the TV into the corner. I've shopped around alot, and when I found these I didn't want to bother looking at anything else...it was just perfect and versatile."

"It looks great and conveniently stores all of our clutter when we are trying to clean up. The biggest drawback to the piece is that the doors don't slide smoothly when it's stacked with other pieces in the line. We have 2 of them as the bottom storage spaces with other pieces stacked 3 high and the we always have problems opening the doors. It seems like the doors are stuck because of all the weight on top and require a lot of force to open and close."

"I have purchased 5 items from the mahogony Ascend product line and have them together as a wall unit. The comments I get are "stunning" and "smart". I believe this will be furniture I will be able to rearrange and use for a very long time. I highly recommend it.!"
