Vintner High Dining Table
Wine and dine combine in a clever new social table. Raised just slightly to a comfortable new 36" gathering height, the solid walnut dropleaf tabletop extends to seat four. White painted base with charming bun feet stands in contrast to the solid walnut top stained a warm cognac. The table base serves as generous storage: Below an open storage shelf sit five wine cubbies on each side to store a total of 10 bottles, and four lower shelves, with two being adjustable, to organize barware and accessories. -Solid birch and engineered wood -Solid walnut top with cognac stain -White painted finish with hand-distressed edges -10 wine storage cubbyholes -Four shelves (two adjustable) -Seats two; four with leaves up -See dimensions below

Excellent table, great value!
"I purchased this table because it's size can be adjusted. It looks great whether I have both sides folded down, one side up, or both sides up. I live in a small apartment in the city, so this feature along with the extra storage is wonderful. The delivery person was right on time, and the table and chairs were packaged well. There weren't any blemishes on the furniture. I was also able to put it together myself, though it would be much easier to do with two people. It was difficult to lift the table top onto the base by myself, but doab!"

Space-conscious and Great-looking
"Very few tables have this color-combination and it looks great in white kitchens with neutral tile. I was able to find some counter-height saddle stools that match the top perfectly and they were an affordable alternative to a full chair. I love the fold down leaves on the table - perfect if you want the option to serve 4 people, but usually seat only 1 or 2.
Here's what you don't hear often enough: Crate and Barrel's customer service is GREAT. One of the table's legs had a defect and C & B overnighted a new package of table legs to me at no charge. I dare you to try getting that kind of service from a discount internet site. We were moving and needed to get the table put together - the excellent customer service was a great convenience."

Great table
"I love this table. It arrived this morning (several days earlier than expected). I was able to put it together by myself. That was great, since my husband was not excited about ready-to-assemble furniture. Solid walnut top is beautiful. Very nice!"

Great Table - Watch out for nicks though
"My husband and I recently purchased this table. It took a couple of hours to put together, but was relatively straight forward. Overall, this is a great looking table.
I only gave it 4 stars for the following reason. The only thing to be aware of is that the table top seems to scratch easily. I was tipped off and told to get a furniture polish that helps keep it looking really sharp. In addition, the white frame and white chairs leave white paint on things that they touch, like the wall and the table top (when the chair was pushed against the table top).
Otherwise, this is a great purchase."

Great for small spaces!
"My husband and I bought this table and just love it! The dining area we were shopping for is very small, and the best part of this table is how you can drop one leaf and push it up against the wall when you are not using it. We also store our table linens and wine in the great shelving below! We love the clean lines and simple design of the table too."

LOVE my table!
"The Vintner High Dining Table is absolutely THE BEST! I have been in my house for almost 25 years and I have had a variety of tables in my kitchen/nook area. This is the first time I have been 100 % satisfied with the size and functionality of the table in that space. This one adds charm because of the storage underneath, and it is so practical; place mats, napkins, salt & pepper shakers, trays, and wine are all stored, along with some decorative items to add a splash of color. The leaves drop down and that is especially nice for my small space and small family...usually there are only 2 or 3 of us eating at once. I LOVE THIS TABLE...most of all, I loved the sale price!!"

Love It
"I live in a fairly small place with very few closets, so furniture that does double duty as storage is a must for me. I love this table. It wasn't too hard to put together, and looks really great when you are done. I love that two of the leaves fold down so the table takes up less space until you want to expand it for company. I was a little worried that the storage beneath the table top would make your legs feel crowded when sitting at the table, but the top is big enough that this is not the case. A truly great solution for a small dining space."

Perfect space-saver
"My new (1949) house has no dining room, but a large enough kitchen for this drop-leaf, gorgeous table -- even spread open. The cubbies for dishes, wine, placemats, and shelf for my knife rack keep the rest of my kitchen from looking overcrowded. And the walnut top makes me happy every time I come home!"

Extremely Satisfied
"It was easy to assemble, looks terrific, is well built, and comfortable to sit at. An overall quality item. I love the height, and the drop leafs are a nice feature. I love that is holds ten bottles of wine as well as any other items I wish to display. It is one of my most favorite purchases. My co-worker bought the same set in black and is just as happy with it as I am. Now I want the matching cart."
