"Love this salt keeper. Had been keeping my sea salt in a metal tin that turned rusty overtime from salt corrosion, but couldn't find a salt cellar I liked. This one is very handy and easy to access the salt. The swivel lid makes a great dust protector while making it easy to add a pinch of salt when I'm in the middle of preparing a meal. Love the bamboo. This keeper is a bit oversized. I didn't pay attention to the measurements provided on this item when I registered for it and maybe wouldn't have registered for it if I had known. But in getting it as a gift and using it, I love the functionality and the presence of this item. The wood is very smooth and has a nice feel to it as you hold it to grab a pinch of salt."

"I bought this box for my own use at home. It looks great and is very well made. It could have stood to be a little bigger, for those times when you need a handful of salt. Overall a very nice product, glad I bought it."

"I bought this salt box for my chef boyfriend and he loves it. When I took it out of the box, I realized that the lid was a bit looser than I had expected, but when I mentioned that to him, he said that he prefers it to swing open easily."

"I like this little product. Ever since I saw Tyler Florence use one, I wanted one. The lid swivels nicely and it is so much more convenient than pouring kosher salt into your hand while you are cooking. The only con is it slides around on the granite counter top too easily. I needed to use two hands to hold it still and open it. So, I put a little piece of shelf liner on the bottom of it so it stayed put when I used it."

"This is an excellent product, the Bamboo Salt Keeper. It goes very well in the kitchen. I keep it handy next to the stove when cooking. The easy smooth movement of the lid makes it very easy to grab a pinch of salt. I would highly recommend this product."

"this is the most used item in my kitchen. the swinging lid makes it easy to access the salt even with one hand. it's large enough to get your hand in to grab a pinch of salt yet it's not too big so that it takes up too much room on your counter"

"Well; to be real to myself i should confess that I have been surprised about this product. We have a house near the sea that doesnt allow the salt to be dry more that 12 hours or so, and even we are now at summer season; meaning humid season, our salt has been dry for a full weekend. Believe me; I'm surprised.

"I love this little trifle. Instead of having salt open to the air where dust, grease and who knows what else (let's not think about that) falls in or lands on it, my cooking salt is covered when I'm not cooking. The lid easily glides open with one hand and I can slide it back into place when cleaning up; speaking of cleaning up, it wipes clean easily. Mostly I love it because it's beautiful!"

"I am very please with this salt keeper for several reasons- the size is great, it is big enough to get your fingers in and pinch the amount of salt that you want. The cover swivels easily open and close so you don't fumble with the keeper. Cleaning the keeper is easy and It is still as nice looking as when I bought it. It is wearing very well. I think the best thing is the size of the salt keeper - it is just a good size."
