A surprising crowd pleaser

"I received this as a wedding present and it has been very useful, easy to clean and easy to store. It has also become a funny conversation piece, as I have had several occasions when cooking for friends and conversations literally came to a halt when I pulled this out as they oooh'ed and ahhh'ed at such an amazing and practical gadget."

"I bought this because I hated that I needed two hands to pour a heavy pot of water filled with pasta over the sink into the colander. This one makes it super easy since it sits at the top of the sink and I have no worries abou the water draining or what else is in the sink at the time. Love it."

"I love that this colander will stay over the sink and drain, while you continue to do other things in the kitchen. And it's large, sturdy and stable enough to drain things like potatoes in without dumping over. The only con is that it does take up some cabinet space, but you can totally put other cabinet items inside it."

"I love using this colander. I love that it is made out of stainless steel and that is nice and large, but the best part of this colander are its legs that allow it to extend over the sink. I have bought this for many bridal showers and it is always adored!"

"I make a lot of salads and prepare a lot of fruit. I hate constantly running vegetables or fruit under the sink every few minutes. With this over-the-sink colander, I just throw in my veggies and run the water all throughout, and the best part -- I can let it sit their to drain and not have slip a towel under it or quickly throw the items into a bowl before leaking onto the counter. It's just so convenient. And I can leave each veggie or piece of fruit in the colander to drain until I'm ready for it. LOVE IT!"

"As someone who shops at farmers markets and loves to grow her own produce, I absolutely adore this colander. It is long enough and deep enough to fit two pounds of asparagus laying down. I especially like that I don't have to bend over the sink to reach in and clean off my produce. The legs grip the sides of my sink and don't move around so I can be using two hands at once to clean off my produce."
