"I was a bit hesitant to order an item that was to be assembled at home but took the chance. I had a professional assemble it for me and he continually remarked what high quality the item is, how it all went together so well, that the hardware was very nice, that the instructions were well written and easy to follow. I am extremely pleased with this item and would very highly recomend it to all."

"Purchased 2 of these cabinets for each side of the fireplace in my living room. Took 2 1/2 hours for unloading, unpacking, and assembly of both cabinets, including time out for a phonecall, a snack break, and a dog walk. Well packaged, easy to follow directions, and very sturdy. We'll use them for books, special china pieces, and photo displays. They look great in my 1920's cottage style home."

"My husband and I just purchased this cabinet with gift cards we had received as wedding gifts. It was surprisingly easy to assembe - it took us less than one hour! We considered using it in our dining room, but in the end we decided to use it in our bedroom with storage baskets. It looks beautiful with the storage baskets - very high end. We are so pleased with this product that we may purchase another from the collection."

"Great communication. Fast delivery. Driver brought it into our home. Easy assemble..an hour with both of us. We drilled a hole in the back to store dvd player and cds and a few decorative accessories, with the 32" flat screen on the top. Works very well in our bedroom with a beach theme. Sturdy cabinet. Very pleased!!!!"

"It was very easy to put together. It looked quite nice as well. Easy to maintain, too.
However, it would have been nice had there been a small sliding door like the other media storage items. I ended up drilling it myself. Otherwise a perfect five."

"The cabinet was very easy to assemble, and the pieces all fit nicely together! The final product looks as good as in the catalog, and you don't get that very often. :) Right now, we're using this to store linens in our bedroom and it looks fantastic next to our Elan bed (also from Crate and Barrel). The best thing about this piece is that it's so versatile, and we can use it anywhere in the house in a pinch!"

"I bought this cabinet for my kitchen. It holds vases and various other odds and ends that are attractive enough for a glass-door cabinet. The storage capacity is impressive--it holds much more than I expected. The crisp white looks so sharp in my kitchen; I've received countless compliments on the cabinet.

"This piece of furniture has been ideal for my Kitchen/breakfast dining area. We have a double bay window and it sits perfectly right in the middle of one of the bay windows. It made the perfect Cookbook and Bar storage area. It's perfect height for mixing drinks as well as holding probably 75 bottles of liquor ...we put a small lamp on top, and a round Crate and Barrel tray with bar accessories and it is awesome! I looked for a great price and this was by far the best!! Easy to put together too-- 1 hour!"

"We had been looking for 2 cabinets to go on either side of our fireplace when I saw these in the Crate & Barrel catalog. We went to the store to check them out and were very impressed with the quality and at a great price so we bought the only 2 that our store had in stock. The instructions and illustrations were easy to follow (I am female). I put both cabinets together myself in less than an hour each. One of the cabinet bottoms was drilled incorrectly in the factory. I called the store where we bought them and they were able to get us a replacement within the next week. We are very happy with the cabinets. They look great flanking our fireplace and are great storage for dvd, stero receiver, etc."

"I have been wanting to add accent furniture to my living room for sometime now and most of my accents are black My husband purchased this cabinet for me as a birthday gift and I couldn't be happier. After placing it in the living room I realized I want to buy another one!
This piece of furniture is made of solid wood, very sturdy and high quality. I was a bit skeptical ordering from a catalog, but after receiving it I am extremely pleased with the quality and appearance.
There is slight assembly assembly required, but it was very easy to put together. not to mention ALL the peices were cut properly and everything fit in place perfectly. You can't get that kind of craftsmanship just anywhere."

"This cabinet has made a great addition to my small NYC kitchen - serves as storage for all of my bar & glassware. Middle shelf is more than tall and wide enough for all of my wine and martini glasses and a decanter. Assembly was easy, although certain parts definitely took 2 of us.
Still looks great after 1 year of use."
