Great Irish Coffee Cups
"These were perfect glasses for Irish Coffees for a St. Patrick's Day dinner that I hosted this year, but I'll definitely use them for other drinks. I'd had some other Irish Coffee cups but the glass was very thin compared to these...I love the thickness and weight of these cups. In fact, I love everything about them."

Classic Winter Mugs!
"We use these mugs every day and on special occasions. Love to make le vin chaud (mulled red vine) and serve it in these! Also makes a beautiful macchiato with our espresso machine. Our kids love "special hot chocolate" serve in these mugs with lots of whipped cream and crushed peppermint. Of course, it's also great for Irish coffee :)"

Our Family's Mug of Choice
"My first encounter with an Irish mug was during my daughter's 2nd birthday tea party @ a cupcake place in Houston. They served it with their hot tea blends & I fell in love with it. I got 6 mugs from crate & barrell & my husband, toddler & I use it everyday with almost anything...coffee, tea & cold beverages! We get compliments from our guests too about it! My 3 year old accidentally broke one & my hubby was worried it will break my heart so he told me to buy more! We just love it! :)"

"I purchased these mugs not for coffee, but for winter party drinks such as hot mulled wine and hot toddies. They have handled the job well. The price is a good value, although they would be even better without the side manufacturing seam. However, our guests didn't seem to notice or mind."

Perfect Irish Coffee Mug
"My husband and I registered for a half dozen Irish Coffee mugs when we got married. They are perfect for after-dinner coffee.
We've received many compliments on these mugs -- and we've even had friends go out and purchase the same mugs.
They fit into the dishwasher easily and they're a smaller portion so you can spread a pot of coffee further. We ended up purchasing more of these Irish coffee mugs, so we can entertain larger groups of people."

Great Mugs
"These mugs are adorable. So glad to have them in our house! They are thick glass, hefty, and a great shape. You can see the seam in the glass, but i don't think that takes too much away from them (they are only $3 after all).

Love in a Cup
"I put these on our registry, because my fiancé loves all things Irish. We've made Irish coffee, tea, and parfaits in these cups so far, and they hold up very well. The price is great, it feels good in your hand (good weight), and it looks great in the glass cabinet...what more could you ask for??"

Perfect for expresso drinks & cocktails!
"This is one of my many items from C&B that are not only reasonably priced, but perfect for entertaining!
I have already used it various times, and not only does it look great, but it's dishwasher safe and good on ware and tear. If you are a fan of expressos, lattes, espresso cocktails, teas, then this is the perfect mug to have. You can also serve mouse, trifles, tiramisus and such on it!"

cheap seam
"I received several of these for Christmas. The shape is nice and the glass is substantial. However, there is a vertical "seam" down the glass on the side opposite the handle that is not visible in the photo. In my opinion, this seriously cheapens the look of the mug. I have never had a seam on any other drinking glass or mug from a store of this caliber, so I was disappointed that a brand like C&B would sell a product with what I consider an inferior manufacturing technique. There are also a few specks/bubbles in the glass, so inspect carefully when choosing your mugs. I could have checked yes for my recommendations if it were only based on looks(front view, that is) and price, but if these were not a gift and I had picked one up at the store to consider, I would have put it back down after seeing the seam and glass quality. Sometimes you get what you pay for as the old saying goes."
