Best Knives Ever
Date: August 20, 2009
"So far, we own 4 Shun knives. They are all amazing. We have the 3.5" paring, 6" chef's knife, 7" santoku, and the most recent edition is the 5" scallop nakiri. They are super sharp and we are just needing to sharpen our oldest ones after a year and a half of daily use. Very comfortable to use and the quality is outstanding!"

LOVE THESE KNIVES!
Date: June 21, 2009
"We have the bread knife and the chefs knife and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! They are well made and do a great job. We keep them working well with the honing steel and they are still working like new almost a year later. Would HIGHLY recommend this brand."

Best Knives Ever
Date: June 20, 2009
"Everytime I use one of these knives, I am shocked by how easy it is to cut and dice. We own the bread, the ultimate utility, paring, and santoku knives. With these knives, we can slice just about anything. Shun knives also hold up their sharpness very well, and they're quite durable. Just be sure to handwash them and dry them after use."

Excellent Chef's Knife
Date: June 20, 2009
"I have the 10" chef's knife. While it's a bit big for small hands, it does a great job of delicate slicing. I use my 8" Wusthof more often, but break out this Shun for specific things like slicing meat/fish or for chopping big onions (where I can comfortably get a higher angle)."

great stuff
Date: June 1, 2009
"I love my Shun knife. The blade is superior to anything else I've ever tried. they are pretty treasured at our house. My only slight complaint is the handle- it is a trademark of this series, but there are better handles out there. I prefer the Wusthof Ikon handle just because it fits my hand so much better. But I love the way this one cuts. So... the 2 are tied for 1st place in my book."

One Sharp Slice of Magic
Date: May 30, 2009
"Oooooh, how I love my Shun Santoku knife! As an avid home cook, I look forward to chopping, slicing and dicing almost anything with this knife. It has a great, comfortable grip and the blade is amazing. I've had it for more than a year now and it still has not needed sharpening. From vegetables and fruits to sticky homemade marshmallows and salted caramels, I KNOW I'm going to be able to get it done right with this knife."

The best knives ever
Date: May 28, 2009
"These knives are so sharp it cuts, slices, and carves anything. Sharpen them with the honing steel to keep them at their very sharpest. I also reccomend extreme caution when in use cause they will slice you too if you're not careful."

Excellent handle for small hands
Date: May 27, 2009
"I love my Shun knives. I am a petite person with small hands. I find many knives to be heavy to handle. Shun's smaller ergonomic handles are just the perfect size for balance and stability. The knives are sharp and easy to care for."

Really who needs a Tomato Knife?
Date: May 27, 2009
"I DO! I test drove a few high-end knife brands and Shun was my favorite. I was always a "cheap knife" person. I thought a $20 knife would do the job. It was not until I really started investing in good knives that I grew to appreciate how much easier and better your cooking can be when you use good quality specialized tools. I joke about the tomato knife but that is the one I use most often! It cuts so beautify. I have about 7-8 different shuns and they are excellent. They are an investment, they are not cheap but they are well worth the price."

Best knife on the market!
Date: May 27, 2009
"Shun knives are the best knives you can buy. I use a Shun chef's knife and santoku at home so I can personally attest to their performance. I've also noticed that more chefs on Iron Chef America use Shun Classic knives than any other brand.
The blade is super sharp on a Shun knife. It cuts effortlessly which is not only convenient, it's also safer than using a dull blade. The D shaped handle is very easy to grip and comfortable in the hand. Leftys beware: this knife is made for right handers. Shun does make left handed models and they will be clearly labeled as such.
You cannot go wrong with this knife."

Shun Knives
Date: May 14, 2009
"As a professional Chef with over 20 years of experience, I would have to say Shun is the best knife available. I use my knifes for up to 16 hours a day, and Shun is the "go - to" knife in my kit, which includes over 30 knifes from 5 different makers."
