Oak Park Compact Office
With a modern nod to the Prairie School style, this compact solid walnut desk features a level of craftsmanship that knows no shortcuts. The entire cabinet is meticulously constructed using traditional, interlocking Chinese joinery without any screws or nails. The top drawer pulls out to become a keyboard tray or laptop workspace. Two drawers align on the left for supply storage and letter/legal files. To the right is a door that opens to one adjustable shelf. Drawer and door pulls are striking in hand-cast iron against the warm brown hand-rubbed finish. The top exposes the artistry of dovetail joinery. A Great Investment

"After many furniture store visits and internet searches, I finally found just what I was looking for. I purchased the Compact Office exactly a year ago to complete my home reading room. The quality is first rate and the finish is beautiful. Its modern design & color blends well with any furniture piece. Because it is so multifunctional, my room can be transformed from a home office to a comfortable & relaxing place to read & meditate. A great addition & investment for any home."

Solid and a beauty

"This is fantastic for small condos/apartments where you need something functional but still stylish. It is an extremely well built/solid piece of furniture, and it looks beautiful in my living room.
When necessary, my laptop can be stored inside and it looks like a regular side table, however day to day, my laptop sits on top and I have a wireless keyboard/mouse in the pull out drawer.
This also provides tons of storage space. The file drawer replaced a small stand alone file drawer. The cabinet on the right hides my USB hub, scanner, and external back up drive, (all plugged in and functional), with a lot of room to spare.
This was an investment, but I know I'm going to have it for years to come."

"The Oak Park compact office is functional and beautiful. I use it as my desk, then I can just push the drawer in and I don't have to rearrange the top area that holds my picture frames and books...it's like having extra desk space. The area to put the cords through in the back are great because once I close my computer and push the drawer in it's all cleaned up (no stray cords) and it looks like a beautiful side table."
