Sad to see it go
"I am disappointed that this flatware is being discontinued. Like so many of the reviewers, my husband and I also have the set we registered for, in our case 13 years ago. I am in the process of replacing as many pieces as I can -- we lost a few due to who knows what (moving, accidentally throwing out), and I want to make sure we get at least another 13 years out of them! They have been a great set: the perfect weight and size, neither feminine nor masculine, neither modern nor traditional. Just perfect, clean lines, perfectly paired with any dish set, and so sturdy and well-made to boot. Love them."

Timeless excellence
"We picked this flatware 18 years ago as part of our wedding registry. We have loved it and it had held up very well. I ordered more recently when I discovered that it would be discontinued. The pieces are sturdy and do not get bend when scooping ice cream. They also don't get overly hot if left in a bowl of soup. We could not have picked anything else that we would have liked more!!! Great timeless excellence!!!"

Best silverware ever
"I LOVE this set. The small spoons are perfect for me, the larger perfect for my husband. They aren't too heavy, weight is evenly distributed and the length is perfect. They are a classic design and I hope to have them forever!"

Good weight, classic look
"We wanted to register for a set a flatware that was classic and timeless, yet still contemporary and stylish. We originally selected the Couture set but after reading the reviews, decided on Arctic; I'm so glad we did! Nice weight in the hand, timeless styling, and easy to dress up or down (no need for fancy silver with this set). Knowing that this set has been around for ages and will be easy to replace pieces was also a major selling feature."

Love this
"We registered for this flatware when we got married 8 years ago. It still looks great and has lasted perfectly even with 5 kids. The knives are still sharp. I would highly recommend this set to anyone. I love the weighty sturdiness of it. My husband does complain of the edges of the handle of the spoon gouging his hands when he scoops hard ice cream. To that I say, "Why not use an ice cream scoop!" : ) Basically, I still love this set as much as I did 8 years ago."
