Finally the right dishes!
"Finally took the plunge to replace dishes from my mother. A difficult decision but I couldn't be more pleased. Going all white has opened up creative place settings-no color boundaries. I especially like the sizing of the various pieces. I ordered the dinner plates, luncheon plates, mugs, both bowl types, bread plate, serving bowls and platter. The low bowls are wonderful for soups and salads-regular bowls for cereal to ice cream. All stack nicely in my cabinets as well as my dishwasher."

Luv It
"I agree that this is a timeless and beautiful set. In my opinion food looks best on white plates. What makes this set stand out to me were the cups and bowls. I even got a compliment from a coworker about my coffee cup and my father in-law quietly acquires my coffee cup and doesn't return them :). The Maison is a must have for those who love to entertain dinner parties and enjoy classic simple design."

Been using since 1995 - still love it
"I love this dinnerware set - been using it since 1995. You can dress it up or use it for everyday. It seems to never go out of style because it is such a classic design. I saw some notes about it chipping easily - hmmm, I don't know where that comes from - all I can say is that mine have never "chipped". Perhaps those people need to know that good dinnerware can chip if you are not careful...it is not Corell brand, good grief.
anyway, I highly recommend this set!"

"I received this set of everyday dinnerware for my bridal shower and I love it. Love the clean, simple lines it has. So happy I was finally able to ditch the mismatched plates and bowls I have been using for years. I look forward to using this set for a long time."

Great classic set
"We registered for these plates nine years ago and I'm glad their still available as we had to replace a couple. The original plates still look good and the styl has held up which is great for everyday plates."

I wish...
"Fourteen years ago I had this set on my wedding registry. I fell in love with the simple elegance of the set. Over time there is breakage that happens and I wish that C&B would make replacement items available in sets of 4 at a more affordable price. $65 dollars to replace 2 chipped dinner plates and 4 salad plates is pretty pricey. Not to speak of needing a new platter and sugar. I'd like to get my pieces back to 12 of everything, but I may have to consider just replacing the entire set."

Chips too easily
"I've had Maison Dinnerware for about 4 years now and I love the style. Unfortunately I've found that the plates chip too easily. We started out with eight dinner plates and are down to five that don't have any chips. I am torn whether or not to order more in this style or go to a different brand. A bit too expensive to have to keep replacing. Bowls, smaller plates and mugs have held up nicely."

Nice, but chips too easily
"I've had this dinnerware for the past five years. Generally, I am pleased with it - except for the bowls. The edges of the bowls chip much too easily. The design just doesn't work. Every bowl I have has chipped in the edge, and this is after replacing half of them. At $10 each, they are just not worth it. I'm replacing them with a better designed bowl."

Simple and Beautiful
"We've had the Maison dinnerware for a bit over two years now. And, my hubby is not the most gentle person, and we haven't had any problems with chipping. He especially loves the deep bowls for cereal, and the pasta/soup bowl is fabulous - very versatile. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase!"

Great go-to plate
"We bought 8 dinnerware sets 10 years ago and have found this line to be classic and contemporary enough to suit every table and meal. They are our base for every meal. We sometimes mix/match pieces we've collected from our travels that complement their simplicity or add a little color.
Best part: in the 10 years we've had them, of course some mishandling or dropping occurs. Because C&B has kept the design, we can replace individual pieces as needed to maintain a complete set."

Great everyday dinnerware
"We purchased this dinnerware a few months ago and have been enjoying it ever since. We have three young children. The dinnerware is light weight yet sturdy. The salad plate is a perfect size for smaller portions. We love the size of the bowls too. We plan on buying more salad plates as 12 may not be enough.
We wash these in the dishwasher and they've been holding up well."
