Nice lamp
"I love the modern look, simple lines and soft light from this lamp. It's quite a bit larger than I expected, but it makes a nice statement. There are some imperfections in the glass that are visible when it's turned on, but I just pointed that side of the lamp toward the wall. The dimmer is also a nice feature, but note that although CF bulbs work with it, they won't work as well as incandescent, if that's important to you. Nice lamp, but not sure it's a good value."

Marina table lamp
"lovely soft glow and fits in nicely with the two violin lamps in the same room. All are used to light art work. The light is gentle and because incandescent bulbs are used, provide a soft light for watercolor paintings framed behind UV protected, archival museum glass. An added plus: bathes the darker corners of the room in a pleasant glow without the look of "art lights" The Marina light is very smart looking, as are the violins. I'm hoping a Marina may become available in a floor lamp size."

Elegant Illumination!
"After seeing this online and reading the reviews I couldn't wait to see if my store had it in stock. I was able to see it on the floor and got the last one in stock! It puts out a lot of light even though it only requires a 60 watt bulb. It includes a dimmer switch to change up the ambiance as an added bonus. Its a good size for a desk which is where I use it and would definitely recommend it to others."

Love This Lamp
"I have used this lamp in two entirely different settings and it is great in both. The dimmer switch gives the freedom to make any atmosphere you would like. It is big and bold, but the sleek lines of the lamp make you forget it is there. It gives no glare at all, but it does provide lots of lighting. I plan on getting another one when I move again, and know it will fit in to any space where I need a good light."

A Lamp That Makes A Statement
"I purchased this online and debated between this lamp and another one from a different company. I like the design of this lamp but was concerned that the height might be too tall to sit on sofa table behind a sectional that floats in the middle of a my living room. I'm very glad that I selected this lamp and no longer have any concerns that it might be too tall.
It really makes a statement in the room and all my guest compliemnt it."

Delivery Problems Resolved Well
"I recently ordered the Marina table lamp.
The first two delivery attempts through UPS yielded broken lamps. Customer service was very genuinely apologetic and helpful. Immediate replacements were shipped and broken lamps were picked up at my front door with no cost. The third attempt through FedEx Ground provided an unbroken lamp with which I am very pleased.
The original shipping costs were credited back to my credit card unsolicited by me. So my net cost at the end of the day was less than if the lamp had arrived unbroken the first time.
Rather than leaving me frustrated, the whole experience was a net positive towards my impression of the company.
I have made several large purchases from Crate and Barrel over the last 5 to 10 years. I have always been very pleased with the quality vs. cost and especially their delivery and customer service. Most of my orders have been online, but I have had the same experience in their stores. It's a very well run and professional organization staffed with people who seem to genuinely care about their customers' experience.
I highly recommend both this table lamp and Crate & Barrel as a company to do business with."

Great lamp
"The sliding dimmer feature is great. I put it on the lower setting in early morning to ease into the day. I like the shape of the lamp and the diffused light it emits. I actually purchased two and couldn't be happier."

A pretty cool lamp
"This lamp is very attractive. The diffused effect in the frosted glass has a very modern and very clean look to it. Though I have it on my night stand, I've tried the lamp in other locations and it looks nice everywhere I put it. On the counter, on the floor, in a corner ... whatever. It looks good. The on/off switch is located on the cord, which is nice length also. I'd buy another one."

Stunning
"This lamp is unbelievably beautiful. It looked impressive when I unpacked it. But when I put the bulb in and turned it on, I was taken aback by its glowing beauty. It looks like similar lamps that cost more than $1,000. It's helping me transition from country chic to modern, and I'm glad I ordered two. I'd love to see it offered in the smaller size as well."

Best Table Lamp I have ever owned
"I have this Marina lamp on top of a Maria Yee 4 drawer chest. The Marina lamp is the only light source in our room yet it provides provides ample light. I like that the lamp is frosted glass and not some type of plastic or faux material. This lamp is beautiful and dramatic."
