"this table is a good price, but the price also equals the quality. it is easily nicked as the finish is not highly durable.
if you have kids or this is in a high traffic area, i would not recommend. this isn't a table that's going to look as good in 5 years as it did the day you bought it."

"Assembled very easily, great color, great design. The only thing I noticed was after I put the table upright, the table legs seemed unbalanced. Doesn't bother me though, maybe if I had a rug it wouldn't be as noticeable."

"This is a great table to own. It is so unique and artistic that you will always receive compliments on it. It is also very functional and can hold lots of books and magazines. It was easy to put together and is solid. I do suggest putting felt pads or cork on anything you on the table to prevent scratches/marks in the long run."

"When I saw this coffee table, I immediately loved it and had to get it. I love that it is oval and dark because it matched perfectly with my living furnitures. I got it around Christmas of 2008 and after less than 6 months the paint (veneer) on the table started to come off. I did not use the table much. Max one or two times a week when company comes over. And I always use coaster and pot liner to protect the table. Even so, the paint came off. I was soo disappointed at the quality of this product. I thought a product from Crate and Barrel should last longer than that. Do not buy this product! You are just wasting money if you do."

"This is a perfect console for a small area-it's under 4". The single easiest RTA I've ever put together; you definitely don't need another person. Looks much better than pic. Color is slightly reddish-mahogany, so if you're needing dark espresso this is much lighter. I couldn't be happier w/ this multi purpose piece."

"I bought this on Wednesday, had it delivered on Thursday and had it put together in 20 minutes. Directions were easy and I think it looks great in my living room. It is a nice piecec of furniture without looking overwhelming."

"I was really excited to finally find a oval table with a darker finish. I love the design of the table with the double levels and the legs that tilt slightly inward so you don't stub your toes easily.
However the veneer finish on the table has easily chipped along the edges and since it is such a dark wood those chips are pretty obvious. Unfortunatly after less than a year I dont see us keeping it for more than 2 or 3 years since I dont know if it will stand up to wear."

"I absolutely love this table. My only problem is that it chips pretty easily. I accidently banged the leg with the vacuum cleaner and there was a chip. And the edges of the table just sort of wore out. I have had this table for about 8 months. I am forever grabbing the stain marker and touching up the table. I also bought the side tables which also are beggining to wear out around the edges. The table is a dark wood and the top and bottom edges of the table there is no stain and it's very easy to notice these defects. I guess for the price it's a decent table - love the style - Maybe next time I will buy a table with a glass top."

"My husband bought this table for me a year and a half ago as a Christmas gift. He knew I had wanted an oval coffee table. Unfortunately I live in a household with 4 sons and have found that the table scratches easily and due to the lovely dark stain, the scratches are quite apparent. I love the oval modern shape and how it fits with our sofa and love seat. It would be nice if you sold touch up stain for the scratches."

Affordable, Perfect for a Small Space, and Stylish

"This table works well with our pretty traditional style but gives our house a little twist. We have a very tight space and were looking for something that would fit and be functional. Many pieces we compared were just too big! This is just the right size, has not sharp corners (since I'm a little clutzy), and was the right price. We bought the matching side table and love the little shelves."
